Am considering having my end caps and buldge wrapped with a matte black vinyl and finished with a clear wrap. Would love to hear opinions and pros and cons of doing such. Pictures would be very helpful as well! TIA!

I inquired about the same thing (bumper end caps wrapped in black vinyl) and the local shop who does lots of Vinyl said it was more work than you'd think to do it super clean and it would be hundreds of dollars, also easier if they could be removed, but that almost defeats the purpose IMO. He recommended I try a good plasti-dip, although recommended other brands which can give a smoother appearance than the classic pasti-dip. Not sure if I will prioritize. The chrome is growing on me. Perhaps wait until I've scuffed up the chrome and have a legit reason for covering it up :)

Thanks man, this certainly helps. I’ll shop around for some quotes. Yeah,
    The chrome isn’t too bad...I guess...haha

He is absolutely right. It wouldnt be worth your time and money because the majority of your bill would be going to bumper/end cap removal for a half hour wrap job then put everything back. If you are willing to spend a few hundo on end cap wraps, you can get the OEM color matched caps. You will be happier with the outcome. And.... you still have stock chrome caps to dip or wrap.

Not sure where you are located but there all the shops I contacted in the DFW area said they can wrap without removing the caps, average price quote was around $300. I will probably be takin mine in in the next month or so.

I got my local tiny shop to quote me at $100 for the install I was planning on getting this for my MGM:https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00AG15GF2/_encoding=UTF8?coliid=IN3MF4XVLPQQ8&colid=38Y8704YM1EBH&psc=1

I asked them if I removed the end caps myself and they did the wrap how much it would cost. I figured, like you said above, that most of the cost would be the time consuming process of removing the end caps. So yeah, I will try and update this once I get that going.

I also have a heat gun and a willing retired father-in-law so I may skip the entire process.

Lastly, anyone have a good idea as to what size might work best for the sheets? I was thinking the 5' x 2' to cover the entire bumper and have enough to wrap around. Too much? Too little?

Yup! Granted that was on the phone about a week ago so there may be the possibility where the shop wants to just get me to bring the truck by and then tack on another $50 for the labor. If that is the case I will just do it myself. I have the tools, will take my time and do the research to get it done properly. I have seen a couple people on here who have done it themselves and they still have great end caps 2+ years after doing so. Worst case scenario I will peel it off and take it in.

Sounds like a good price, I may be looking to do that this summer, except in white.

    nothing yet
I just got an estimate for the exact same thing today. Total for four endcaps and the buldge was $525. Nothing needs to be removed and takes about 3 hours.

Personally, im one of the do it yourself type of people..i hate to see anyone touch my truck that i do not know, dealership techs included. Get some vinyl and give it a shot. Slow and steady. And its been a month or a little more and my wrap still looks as good as it did day one.

Had my 4 chrome corners wrapped for $300 out the door which included disassembly/reassembly of the bumpers. Same day completion as well. That didn’t seem outrageous to me for the amount of work he did and the results I got. Praxis Motorsports in Scottsdale AZ did it

Interesting... I may get a quote for the bulge too.

I'd be comfortable doing the rear bumper ends, but the fronts and hood bulge seem really difficult with the curves.
