U can use a different wrench if u want, up to u. When I'm in the hole working on a main, I'll use a wrench that's easiest for job, then once I feel them get a little tight, I'll break out the torque wrench to get it to spec. U can use torque from start too. Up to u. If it's a tight spot and easier with smaller wrench, use that and switch to torque near end when it starts feeling tight.

What I'm saying about knowing it's good. So say u tighten tighten tighten then hear click. Stop then Try again, say this time u tighten, tighten then hear click. Stop then Try again, this time u tighten then hear click. Stop Try again, this time soon as u go to tighten it clicks immediately then u have it set correct. U want to hear the torque wrench make that click sound soon as u start ur turn to tighten. When it does that u got it set.

Don't stop tightening until u hear it make that click sound right at the start of your turn to tighten. Like I said, this especially comes into play more for when u are tightening multiple bolts that are close to eachother. U want to give a couple turns on each 1 alternating until they all make the click on ur very first start of turn on each 1.

Since there are no measurements a good way to go by is the brake line bracket on the left side. The clamp goes just outside that on the factory installed bar .IMG_20180205_123310.jpg

Picked mine up from the dealer today. LOL. I will miss the silver bullet though - had it for 16 years with zero issues.

The most detailed part(and it's not complicated) is getting the grill and filler panels off to actually change the bulb. If you haven't pulled the front end apart before watch the HR video they link to. It shows it pretty straight forward.
If you have had yours apart then you're already over the hardest part :)
Again, it's not difficult, just a lot of fiddly bits.
You'll like how bright those headlights are.

The first time I did it, taking my time, was probably an hour. I've had it apart twice since then and can do the bulb swap in about 35 minutes. Even in the snow!

I'm guessing you haven't taken the grill out yet then? It's not difficult.
Watch the video... It will make more sense than I can try to explain in words here.

LOL...that’s most people’s reaction when they figure out what is involved for the first time. It isn’t nearly as bad (or involved) as it looks.

Looking at getting a 6" Tough Country lift with 35" toyo Open Country A/T tires on 2014 Limited... Anybody have this same set up or close to it by chance? Also, any reccomendatuons or advise with this set up would be appreciated. Also looking at how much actual height is gained on truck to see if still getting in the garage is a possibility. TIA

I cut my oe Toyota exhaust tip off awhile ago and coated it matte black, finally got a few pics. Not very noticeable, but I prefer it.

Ok, 1st off I want to thank the ones here that helped me out with great info and thanks for your time!

I installed the TRD sway bar and it went smooth and without any hiccups! I sure wished the 2018 led headlight install went this easy!

    Again, thank you my brothers!

@geno0506 what other projects do have going? Looks like they are some exhaust pipes with header flanges next to your right front wheel.

Those are the trd pro dual exhaust I installed last year, the ones on the ground are the OEM take offs! So now I have the OEM take off exhaust, front headlights and fogs, and chrome hod bulge and grill hanging around!

My last big project is the install of my AMP research power steps, this should be fun, :frusty:

Hellwig adjustable, link length and bar firmness are both adjustable.

Yes, I could not do red. It was cheaper, adjustable, and I definitely recommend as a quality product, very nice. The adjustable links are a pain to set if you get them.

Is yours part# 7692? On there website that's the only one they show but list it as "without factory tow hitch"

At least for the 2017 the Amp harness is supposed P&P. As far as your take-offs I would try selling them, you might get lucky.
