I had a Smittybilt M1 rear bumper on my 2011 Crewmax Platinum. Awesome bumper that included back up lights.

Good choice. There is a truck that parks at the rec center that has both front and rear m1s. Looks very nice.

I don't have any bumpers yet, but I had them on a couple Tacomas I used to own. If I had the money, I'd get one of those SDHQ prerunner bumpers.

The Smitty Built M1's are certainly good looking, but I prefer a bumper that is equally tough and one that I can actually step on and off of without slipping and breaking my leg. I'm glad I waited for Ranch Hand to come out with their new Horizon series rear bumpers for 2016 (Figures that Texans finally get it right) :[IMG]
I am going to confirm Monday if there is one for the 2nd & 3rd gen Tundras. If they they have one for my 07, bumped to 1st place for my next upgrade , "Ranch" hands down for sure: http://www.ranchhand.com/products/horizon-back-bumper

Was never a big fan of the look of the Ranch Hand bumpers, but that Horizon series bumper looks great. I checked their website, but I couldn't find where it says if the Horizon is available for the 2nd-3rd gen Tundras. Let us know if you find anything out when you call them.

I agree , the "Sport" Ranch Hand rear bumper was well built but not the most appealing on the Tundra. The new Horizon Series is totally different. I'm going to call the Ranch Hand store in Colorado Springs tomorrow AM when they open.Hope there is good news.

Just called. Will not be made for the Tundra as of now. Ranch Hand will only offer the Sport bumper. Told them "they are making a mistake and that they should dump the Sport and go with the new Horizon and that I was prepared to put down a 50% deposit today. Manager wanted to know if I would be interested in the Sport. "Nope".

Ugly for sure, but very well built. It is a very well built "utility" bumper. I emailed a "WTH" , what the hell, message. For me, the Horizon bumper is exactly what I've been waiting for. I hope they patented the design, before someone else picks up on this bumper. I don't need a F-117 Black Hawk radar reflecting style bumper that I can't even step on. Cool isn't always practical.
