I've never heard the story of your Big Wreck-- I figure that's one I should hear someday when I make it to CO and we can -- but any wreck you can walk after is, well, something not to take lightly. So mount that mirror as a reminder.

I'll look it up. Still though, if you make it to SD and let me know, or when I get to CO, I'll offer up . You know a lot of stuff I'd like to learn.

I suppose your right. I can’t say it “thought” me a lot, but it did open my eyes and got me to take a step back form being the invincible strong headed kid that I have a tendency to be. Made me realize how short thing can be....

Normally I have a hard time justifying taking a video because I also use my phone to play music, but I (finally) brought my full tool box home and set up my computer and a set of pretty decent speakers and just went to town. There was literally nothing left to do except pull the motor at that point, I didn’t feel like recording the two hours of work prior to pulling it. The full video was only about 20 minuets

 

Ok I put my nose to the grindstone tonight, got the wiring harness(s) from punkin in to the new rig, (I still need a name for this one....) and most of the dash reassembled, more to come tomorrow night hopefully.... I still have to pull the trans but I really don’t like doing that alone lol always a little sketchy....

I think I’m leaning towards using a lot of punkins interior parts because, well, the grey looks better then brown. Also got the idea to try and rhino line the floor.

I had this weird dream last night. I dreamt that some one sold me a orange first gen with no interior. It was weird. I guess that’s what I get for working on the truck till I’m exhausted
