2018 Cement Transformation

Here is a Tundra we just did for a customer. I am not always a big fan of color match flares but I thought everyone would like a look.

What brand are those flares? The color match looks good.

 

What step rails are those?

 

Any problems with TSS? I do believe this is the first '18 I've seen with a lift greater than 3". Especially cool since it's the best color.

I don’t like the color matched flares. I’m not sure I like flares at all. I’m on the fence and I could probably use them..
good looking ride though!

Same question about the lift, and problems with all the sensors acting up?

 

Rough Country Flares. However the cement ones have to be done locally then shipped. RC does not offer that color.

 

Magnum RT

 

No it all worked well. Truthfully the lane departure feature drives me nuts.

 

I don't either, however people love them. These fit so well and no drilling

 

Funny, I have those step rails.....and want to cut the “magnum” laser cut lettering completely out.

 

I wanted to as well. However i don't think the customer would have liked that but i also didn't ask. He wanted those exact ones.

 

Yup....I was going to unscrew them and take a cutting wheel to them....I will this spring..I hate being a billboard. Interesting note, a few years back...it was an option fo the lettering.

 

Yeah they should send them out as optional to put on

Its a 6" Rough Country. Customer just wanted to clear some big tires. If all you are looking for is a bracket lift its hard to beat the RC price. Was hoping he was going to be up to a BDS with full Fox's. However we do what we can to work inside our customers budgets.

I know your thought process, Brad. Don’t do it. You won’t like it, and you won’t be saving your paint enough to justify it. I’m not implying that I don’t like em, just that if you aren’t a fan then the reward isn’t great enough to put them on.

I personally.......LIKE THE HELL OUTTA THAT !!!!!....It looks good on that particular truck with that Cement Color!!!

 

As an installer I really like the fact Rough Country is selling color match flares. Sometimes it is hard to trust the timelines of our local painters. Great product great easy install. The rubber trim had the largest double sided tape I have ever seen on a flare and I have installed them all. Truly no drill.
