the kids are at that age and I need to find something they can share.....when I’m not using it as a DD

WHAT DID YOU USE TO TEACH YOUR KIDS TO DRIVE?

I need to find an AWD or a 4WD due to road conditions and high elevation driving.

    Suggestions welcome

My son started driving dirt roads in my old chevy truck when he was big enough to reach the pedals. One of those boxy looking scion would be a great little car to learn to drive and have room to haul stuff in.

My oldest learned in my 89 Chevy Cavalier (Z-24 model) and my youngest in a 92 Subaru. In Colorado, both had to take driver's ed classes so they got to drive a few different cars around. (Today, the oldest has a nice Mazda SUV and the youngest a Corolla)

Hyundai Accent but a 2WD. You can find used TrailBlazers here in Denver Metro for decent prices.

I bought a Suburu Legacy and a Honda CRV in anticipation of this day but the ex-wife totaled one and then stole the other.

Corolla, Accord, Civic, Camry, Focus....all smaller cars would be great! (Definitely not a Tundra or a Hum V!!!!)

I’m kind of wanting to find an older Taco that I drive on a daily basis, but turn it over to Noah when he’s ready. The good news is that he doesn’t like trucks, soooooo..........

It might end up mine :anonymous:

Id say something like a Rav4 or CRV. Easy to drive, easy to park, low maintenance, Gives them that higher up perspective instead of being low like a subaru wagon or sedan.

Downside...Tacomas, as you know, hold their value. Find a clean one with a few miles on it as in 100K or more. You know it'll run for years unless your ex steals it....

And I hear a lot of lesbians drive them? So Almaboy will feel pretty comfortable borrowing their car when he needs to.
