I need help picking out accessories for my new truck. Mostly looking for tube step ideas but open to what ever you guys want to share with this first time tundra owner. I am a die hard Toyota fan, I have owned two Tacomas, and my wife drives a 4runner. I just got word that my Tundra TRD Pro is built and awaiting transport to the dealer(should be here by the end of the month). I have been patiently wait for this truck since July, so you can imagine how stoked I am now. I have included a photo of my Tacoma so you can get an idea of my taste. Thank You in advance for the help.

Welcome. Congrats on the purchase. I love the Pro's.
Similar situation here, Toyota family, this is my previous truck..

Your truck is awesome right out of the gate, so you are off to a great start.

I really liked the plastic covered aluminum running boards on my Taco so I picked up a set of them for my Tundra. They don't rust and they catch a lot of spray from the wheels, keeping the side of the truck a bit cleaner.

I bought when the Pro wasn't even heard of (Nov of 13') so once the Pro stuff came out I swapped the grill and headlights with Pro parts. You won't have to do that, or suspension, or exhaust!

I had a roll up cover on my Taco that I hated so I went with a RollBak VP on the Tundra, I love it.

I also went with an Undercover Swing case to keep random stuff in (flares, tow strap, tie downs, hitch balls, etc.) I love that too.

Oh, and paint protection to prevent rock chips on the front end.

That's where I started. Waiting to save more to spend more haha.

Toyota or any aftermarket, whatever you recommend. I am a mechanic so I can handle my own installs. Just having trouble finding stuff I like, google is now help and haven't had a lot of time to hunt through treads. I work for UPS so this is my busy season, if I'm not at work ,I'm spendibg time with my family, or sleeping.

That's a nice looking taco! I have already decided to put a Bak revolver tonneau on, I have a roll-x on my taco and love it.
I know the Pros are awesome, my buddy who owns the dealership is going to be so glad when my truck is in since I have been calling him at least once a week. I didn't even know if I was gonna get one till mid october when Toyota actually accepted my paperwork. At first he asked if I wanted anything else but a Pro and I said no,theyhave everything I want, andI priced a SR5 all optioned up and it would cost more!

For the running boards you mean? I picked up a used OEM Toyota set from a 2nd gen owner, as long as the cab style is the same, the running boards from 2nd gen and 3rd gens Tundras are the same.

With that being said, I live in PA so the winters can be harsh, hence the aluminum/plastic combo. I also sprayed the mounting brackets with bedliner for added protection.
If rust isn't an issue where you are at and steel will do, Iron Cross are my favorite (haven't seen them in person though) and N Fabs are a close second.
Its all about what style you like though.

I am located in Iowa so rust is an issue for me too. My wife liked the looks of the Iron Cross Patriot Boards

I miss her but don't regret the switch at all. I think I will be a Tundra guy for life now haha.
