I will mark my calendar! I really don't want to spend 70K on a Raptor. I just want a more advanced interior for the Tundra.

    You're exactly right.

And have you ever sat in a Raptor? The interior feels cheap. The whole truck feels cheap. All F150's feel cheap.

The interior is far better than the Tundra’s. The Tundra’s interior is far outdated. IMO I like the F150 interior, I don’t like the seats though. When I say interior, I mean the dash design and entertainment center. Plus the extra stuff like a 360 camera, rear heated seats, etc are cool.

I agree that the Tundra's interior is outdated, but I was referring to quality of materials and fit and finish.

This would be interesting, maybe the pro would be the first model to get the 8spd trans.

Are you able to order a TRD Pro? If so, when do order banks usually open for the next year's vehicle? July?

Not really sure. I haven't received anything stating Toyota is changing up the manufacturer of the Pro suspension.

I don't know, my brother picked up a new F-150 and it's night and day better inside than the tundra.

But how long will it last? Is it because of all the gadgets it has? I've never been impressed with the F150s....let alone ford.

many say the same about toyota's.. Just being honest. I'm not a fan boy of a specific brand. Will the toyota be in better shape 10 years down the road? Probably. But not many people keep vehicles that long.

I love my tundra, i bought it on a total whim (literally went to the grocery store, came home with a truck, got rid of my 750li). I didn't know if i'd like a truck so i bought the toyota cause resale is night and day better than anything else. Now that i know I will probably not live without a truck....i'd probably have gotten the ford. I keep looking at raptors but the markup isn't gonna happen with me.

THe interior of the ford (not base model), is much better IMO than the tundra; but that's just one mans asshole......

I really like the looks inside and out of the F150's...but two things keep me from owning one. Reliability and resale. If they could fix one of the two issues I would try one out but until then I will stick with my Tundra or GM product if I had to go outside of Toyota.

The new Raptors are cool trucks but like you said the markup is just not going to happen with me for nothing more than the principal of it. I have heard rumors of a V8 coming back to the Raptor in some form which I would like to see.

    Back to topic...kinda...:)

I doubt there will be a new powertrain in this bodystyle. I am betting that is going to wait til the total refresh. If anything is different with a new Pro I bet it's Fox suspension and hood scoop. That along with some upgrade features the current Pro doesn't have like sunroof, etc... I hope there is a new color coming for them and they don't just use the Cavalry Blue from this year.

It blows my mind, i walked into a dealer that had 7 raptors on the lot, would not budge from a $15K markup and I had cash in hand. That said, I also looked for a TRD Pro and everyone wanted an 8-12K markup

Yeah...that's nutz!! I see your in CA, from what I hear the markup is really bad out your way. I guess if people pay it I can't fault a dealer for doing it...capitalism at work, have to take the good with the bad as far as that goes. For that kind of money you could just buy a really nice Lariat and mid-travel the thing on any wheels and tires you want and have money left over for whatever cosmetic changes you want.
