It certainly is a catch-22. I really enjoy having her off road but any noise or scratch is excruciating

I got most of my off-roading our of my system with my 1st gen taco. After you off-road in something like that off-roading in our land yatchs not so promising... I honestly think that’s why I don’t care for off-roading in the rig.

    Yep
I hear ya. I had a 96 Taco but didn’t do much more than fire roads and snow excursions. I don’t wheel my land yacht very hard on a regular, but have gotten in over my head and try to keep it light under normal circumstances. I do like to be able to go places stock can’t. Makes for better campsites

    What exactly does this disable?
Does it shut off the ATRAC system?
Does it disable the Auto LSD?

All of it. Goes through the 3 button push cycle automatically.

Then what is the sequence for enabling just ATRAC or just the LSD?

I like the option of using ATRAC and the LSD when offroad. They're not the best option all the time. But they are tools that make certain situations more manageable.

Once the truck starts it'll automatically turn everything off. After that, one press of the button and it resets back to normal. Then you can go through the cycle manually to whichever setting you want. When I'm wheeling, I turn everything off. I rarely mess with it on the streets because it's a big hassle, but I'm pretty sure I'm going to like it on the streets with everything off also. Only time I might turn nannies back on is when it's raining.

I have a question. I am planning on installing an Auburn LSD. Is this switch something that will be useful or needed?

I am not sure. I would assume that the traction control will still intervene with the LSD so I believe this should be beneficial. If anything it should be more beneficial for you as you don't need ALSD anymore with the Auburn.. I want an LSD too.. one day..

hopefully someone can chime in with your question.

How does this one compare to the one the other guy is selling besides being $30 cheaper? I forgot his name but he has a thread here this week.

No, whatever I do, I doubt I'll get a free one. I'm pretty happy with this price anyways. I'm just tagging all the guys I like that offroad cuz we need it and this is a great deal.
