I installed these Wet Okole heated seat covers in my Pro today. Took about two hours to get them installed properly and the wiring zip tied and out of the way but man do they look nice. Oh and I have heated seats now too. 02AF5408-A5B3-41EF-A0A4-6C7439E7E201.jpg

What do you need to know? I’ve had mine without heaters for 2 years now.

Yep they have held up beautifully. They are warm in the summer and you do sweat some, but they have not faded and holds up to kids’ beating. I don’t have pipping on mine so experience will be slightly different than OPs. But yes I’m happy with mine so far.

One thing that always bothered me about my Pro was not having heated seats. For 68 dollars Wet Okole added that option to both front seat bases and backs with a two mode switch (high and low) couldn’t be happier.

I had them in my '14 Tacoma that I traded in. They held up and looked great. I got them in black and grey that matched the colors of the interior. They fit really tight that made them look oem. I haven't pulled the trigger on another set for the Tundra yet. I got the Tacoma's on a group buy deal on tacomaworld.

Ive had these cover for my past three toyota trucks. They hold up fine besides the piping. They will start to fray over time, at least the ones on the edge. My only complaint. I wont do piping again. Never got the heated option so cant tell you much there. For cleaning Ive thrown these in the washer and they have been fine. Dont think your're supposed to though. Ill get these again for the tundra.

Had a set in my 4runner for 3 years. Easy to clean. Look factory. Still looked perfect the day I sold it. I would love a set in the Tundra, HEATED. Man do I miss the heated seats in my Super Duty.

Jeez! Look what I started now. Wish I could have gotten in on the group buy. A couple days later and I am still loving these covers. Aside from the comfort and value of the heat function, they turned my uncomfortable Pro seat into a cushiony comfortable seat. Thrilled! Probably the best dollar value functional mod I have done.

That's not my choice to make, It's Wet Okole's.

In the last group buy Wet Okole was strict and only wanted the group on Tacomaworld

Look great! Mind if I ask what specific options you got, and what you paid?

I'd be in on a group buy.. particularly if they come with heated seats. My wife whines that I don't have heated seats..

Though the graphics look good, they are the one option I have concerns about. I’m not sure if they will hold up. Embroidering would have been a nicer look and more durable but that was not an option. As one poster said his piping frayed. I have to keep an eye on that but it actually looks like durable high quality piping. Another reason why I bought these was that the Pro seats after two years were showing signs of wear such as fading, creasing etc. And that’s with me babying the truck. I wanted to try to keep the original seats in good condition. Time will tell.

I did the graphics on my fj and they still looked brand new when I took them off and sold them 4 years later.

I bought my seat covers for 20% off on the Tacoma forum years ago. I would not pay full price. No freaking way

Thanks for the response - I think yours look great and the fit seems perfect. I don't think I would do any embroidered graphics but wanted an idea of the piping and material/color you chose. It's difficult to choose based on their online swatches.

I went all black, no pipping. Added the TRD logo on mine. Didn't get heaters (as seats are warm enough for CO) nor the gun pocket up front as I didn't know how it would hold up over time with the weight of a pistol. Center console armrest cover is awesome. Good luck on your decision.

Hey, guys. After someone else let me know anyone can do it, I organized a group buy on this forum. Any one of you could probably make it happen. I had just joined the forum a short time before and had no idea how to do it.

What you'd do is let everyone else on this thread know you'll take the lead, then contact Wet Okole, introduce yourself as one of several members of the Tundras.com forum that are interested in a group buy, and ask them if they'll commit to discount tiers: what percentage discount for _#_ orders; what percentage discount for _#_ orders; and so on, and agree on what time period they'll allow for you to gather commitments from other members to participate.

If/ once W.O. commits to such an agreement to discount based on certain numbers of orders, post up the Group Buy info on a NEW THREAD, not this one. Include the deadline date to commit, and the discount tier info, and the time period to order once the Group Buy starts.

As members commit on the thread, the [OP] , the person that leads the group buy also creates the thread, should edit the first post in the Group Buy thread-- the same one you have all the Group Buy info in, to tag the members who have committed in a list, so it's easy for any of us (and anyone at W.O. who checks in) to see how it's going.

Once we reach the number of required commitments to purchase, as well as the end of the sign-up period, the [OP] will re-contact W.O. to receive a discount code from W.O. (off-line) and either PM it to the people on the commitment list OR post it on the Group Buy thread so even more members can use it. Which of these it will be depends on how W.O. wants the [OP] to handle it. The discount code will only be valid for a specific amount of time, again the decision of W.O.

You'd NOT be involved in collecting money, or with any other member's individual order; you'd just be an organizer. And all you get out of it is the same discount you arrange for every participating member... but if you make it happen, you benefit from a discount you don't currently have. And will be appreciated by all other members who tag along on your work.

If you have questions before committing to take this on, check out past/ current Group Buy threads on here. Romanortiz has done several; eledobleu did one recently for headlight harnesses (he did not update the list by tagging members because he is the vendor, you would need to do); and BlueBottle has one going for his MTD (traction disabler). You can borrow wording and what-not plus get a feel for your responsibilities if you take this on.

Whew! Lotta typing right there. I agree with someone else who recently suggested we should have a How-To-Do-Stuff-on-Tundras.com sticky thread... but, anyway, this is the gist of it.

I have arranged group buys before. Too much work and often times not enough interest. I'll just leech off of someone else's work instead. ;)

I went with black covers and charcoal piping. The piping looks darker in person than in the picture I attached as reference.

Has anyone tried putting these in a 2018? I just tried installing mine and they seem to be way to big. I have pushed, pulled stuffed, as much fabric as I can on the front seats and they bubble up in the lower back and the seat portions won't stay in place even after the straps are tightened down. I didn't think there was much of a difference from the 17 to the 18. Anyone have any tips?

I can say definitively that my 2016 Tundra pro seats did the same thing. They buckle near the backrest and back of bottom seating area. Within two to three weeks it resolved itself and no longer looks like extra material. Give it some time.
