hey guys... just got a 2018 1794. Not looking to spend crazy money but would like to consider black rims. I currently have the 20 inch factory chrome clad rims u see in the pic. Anyone powder coated those and what does it look like and cost?

    Much appreciated!5EC2B0D1-B529-45A4-99EB-63B8B3B22390.jpg

Welcome from Western NC, nice Tundra! Just an FYI....your in the wrong place not wanting to spend crazy money. :rofl:this is where crazy money $$$$ is spent by the tens of thousands. The search window in the top right corner is a great place to start exploring your options.

After removing the chrome off those rims and then powder coating, you might be better off setting aside some crazy money for a custom set. Or you could Plastic Dip them, not a fan but some guys go this route.

Thanks! I’m in the Raleigh area. I figured it wouldn’t work but just trying to see if there is anything I can do without spending 3 or 4 grand extra...

Welcom. I got a set to powder coat my Crome wheels in Gulfport ms and it was 500$. Look at the new sequoia TRD Sport. I do believe it has your wheel in Black.

A nice set of wheels won't set you back 3 or 4 thousand. You could pick up a nice set of wheels around.$1500

It definitely wont cost you 3 or 4 grand. Check out customwheeloffsets.com for package deals. I ordered my wheels from discout tire direct for under $1000.

So far I’ve resisted spending loads of $$$, a few things here and there, but this place lures you in to open your wallet, so many nice looking trucks here it’s hard not to

I’ve got a guy on craigslist that wants to buy the factory tires and rims. They have like 20 miles on them... what do y’all think is a good price?

Start at $1000, he can’t buy the wheels and tires at the dealership for that. I would not take less than $800 given the low miles.
And becareful of sorry arse low ballers who want a steal of a deal only to flip them for a profit later. I sold my Platinum rims, no tires no sensors for $500 cash..they were 4 yrs old.
How bad does he have the wanties? GLWS!
