I don't know what level stereo you have, if it is the JBL version (existing sub) I don't think that will work for you; if you have the non-JBL stereo you will need a separate amplifier for the Kicker sub. Many threads here on audio improvement, once you read them you'll find out that it is not cheap to upgrade the sound in your Tundra.

I think the box is too big. I saw a post on another site where they tried the kicker with the built in amp on a 2015 it didn't fit and is the same dimensions.

There's a JL 8" i believe that fits behind the crewmax back seat.

Thats what i've got behind the seats and its worth every penny. Its quite a bit more than the $120 option the OP was going for.

Yeah I didn't really pay attention to the cost. That always seems to be where I get in trouble.

What amp do you have pushing it? Did you change all your other speakers as well?

I have the HD900/5 pushing the subs and all 4 door speakers. I put in JL C5-650's in the front and C2-650's in the rear. The link to my build is in my signature.

You can get those speakers and a custom box for cheaper then the stealth box. Stealth is about $1,100

I paid $573 for the 2 10s and $199 for the box. Total $773 for a savings of $328 for the same speakers and same demenions box.

Or you can go the easy way and get the JBL Enhancement from OEM Audio. I did and I really like it but, like I said not cheap at 1200.00.

You can shop around a bit and find them in the $900 range, but i was quoted around $700 for a similar setup to smooosh (custom box with the same subs).

It packs a nice clean punch. It allows for high level inputs too if you dont have to deal with a LOC. I usually only use mine at 2/3 (with the JL adjustment knob) and with the bass at like -3 (on the stock HU).
