Thinking of selling my 2016 TRD Pro Crew Max, Super White (the fastest) due to possibly moving out of state and new job will provide work truck. In Houston now. I bought it with 9900 miles.

30,000 miles now, black leather interior, de-badged, limo tint, 295 Terra Grappler G2s, White Knuckle Off Road sliders, Magnum Heavy Duty RT front bumper, 2018 OEM LED headlights, KC LED fogs, Ultra Flex tri-fold tonneau cover.

Blue Book to private party is about $42K without added parts.

    What's the going market?

Of course, I don't really want to or need to sell it, I've had a work truck before and I just hate having something and not driving it. Just figured the market would be better in the Houston area than where I may be moving.

I’d keep it if it were me. Hell, I’ve had a work truck at all 3 jobs since college. It’s always better to have your own pickup and be prepared, plus yours is a flipping PRO dude!

Put it up for $45,000 and see what happens. You're not going to get full value for all the mods.

What if you change jobs or lose it? Keep the truck. I have a DD I use and keep Betsy in the garage as my weekend warrior or when weather calls for it.

I’m agreeing with keeping the truck, especially if you are able to keep it garaged. My 2015 Pro has only about 8,500 miles and still smells “new car”, always garaged. I am only now starting to put miles on her since I retired this month.
You never know what the future will bring but I cannot imagine any future without a truck.

Keep it. Also depends on what state you are moving to. A nice Pro like yours would bring top $ in Denver for example.

ah yes, very true. not moving to Denver, but within 4 hours. I realize I'll only get maybe 50% out of the mods. so far keeping it. I put it in tow/haul ass mode this morning to work and was smiling the whole way. besides I may need it to pull a trailer and haul two big dogs in the backseat while the wife takes her car with the kiddo and the cat.

    Clicked the link Patriot posted.

Have to "rant" for a second. I see listings all the time for TRD Pros. However, when you look at the truck, it is the wrong color for the year, wrong grill, or not even close. I'm not a snob about such things and don't care what people do to their own rides, but the sales folks are not being accurate...

Easy Gents, haha I think I stated a few were Pro’s, not all. And those listed are way over priced IMHO..but some LIB (low info buyer) will walk up and pay full price.

@Rhubarb Johnson Yeah, sales people still bait and switch in their ads, sadly, been that way for as long as cars and trucks have sold.

yeah, cats don't belong in trucks especially Tundras of any kind.

On those Pro ads. I see TRDs listed as Pros quite often. Either dealers are playing dumb or they really do not understand model differences for Tundras. I think this even applies to some Toyota dealers. Sale lady that sold me mine kept referring to the Pro on their lot as a "TRD". I knew from talking to her about buying a TRD OR she was clueless. I started to correct her a few with "it is a TRD Pro not just a TRD" but from earlier conversations I figured it was hopeless. When I showed her my grille and seat covers she said "oh you built your own little TRD".

Selling price can vary from location to location. your best bet is to look at the asking price of similar vehicles in your city. Then price it similarly. Keep in mind used vehicles are one of those things where people won't buy unless you move a bit on your price. They think that's required to close the deal.
