so there’s a lot of write ups on the anytime fog light mod using wires under the dash etc I found a different way which is simpler. If someone has already posted this please delete. There is also a YouTube video on a. 2nd gen from years ago you can reference if you want to add a aftermarket switch.

This was performed on my 2015 sr5. And should be compatibile with 2nd and 3rd gen tundras. Iam not reliable to any damages caused to your vehicle :).

Cons:fog lights will not be controlled by the fog light switch. They will come on automatically with Parking lights, low beam, and hi beam. To turn them off you must turn off all lights(minus your DRL)or wire a separate switch in. For me if my headlights are on my fogs are and I wanted to be able to have them on with my parking lights and brights so this is perfect for my situation here’s a breakdown.

    Looking at the fuse box
    FA91BFD2-30C9-41E1-8AE9-96FC9D3CF812.jpg
    Locate the foglight relay
    2FC6ED0F-AF76-4825-8228-BCAB5C410029.jpg
Using pliers Pull the relay outward.looking at it from this angle the bottom left prong is the one u want.bend it slowly with pliers to a 90 deg and connect a female spade to it with about 12in of wire.
    B0DC0FE7-A617-4912-8815-D4C4AB870D3C.jpg
Plug your relay back in and run the wire to a good grounding point, cut the wire to proper length and connect using the proper connector(which I need to add to mine I couldn’t find any in my shop).
    24B5DB9D-7BA6-42AA-8DEA-519E759D210D.jpg
Install your fuse box cap and test your lights. The fogs no longer are controlled by the fog light switch. They will be controlled by your main light switch. Fogs with come on with the parking lights, headlights, and hi beams. Only way to shut them off will be to turn off all lights or wire in an aftermarket toggle/rocker switch.
    Finished product

Video to run a aftermarket switch if wanted. Not my video.

Nice!. On mine (2018) the fog light relay is the one next to your finger on the right and the relay is negative switched, so I wired it to the negative of the headlight relay. When headlights are switched on, headlight relay coil is grounded and the fog light relay coil will be grounded too thus turning on the fog lights.

Gonna try this when the temp gets up over 20.
Seems nice and easy and I've been hoping for a tacoma-like fog light mod

I wonder if the ground wire could somehow be connected to the stock fog light switch. (Too bad its not a push button switch)Would be tough but would restore use of the switch.

Idk the stock fog switch is kinda dumb on our trucks like you said wish it was an actual button. You can do the mod under the dash if you wanna use the switch but, for me before I did this mod id keep them on full time no matter what but wanted them on with the parking lights to accent the fogs so this made more sense to me. You can always wire in a oem fog light switch like the Tacoma’s have to keep your on off option to

That’s what the guy in the video did but used a toggle

I would love a plug/play fog mod. I want to retain the factory switch and I don't want to cut/splice wires under the dash. No one has made that happen yet?
