    Hey guys and gals. I might be crazy, well I know I am. But, none the less, I came up with the idea to start a thread of members in the NJ, N.Y., PA area.

    Members who can relate to the area, the topography, the demographics, ect.... Members who are more likely to cross paths on the road. Members who if they want to sell or trade something they don't have to get smashed with shipping costs and since they don't live on the other side of the country might be able to meet up. Shit, who knows, maybe someone who joins the thread might 1 day want to organize a meet. Maybe a member needs advice, help with a job, whatever the case might be. Even better, maybe 1 day someone makes a friend from it that they never would have known or crossed paths without the thread being started.

    I noticed guys in other areas have started such a thread so figured why not us. Why not start a thread of members who share a passion for their trucks and live somewhat in the same area. So, without further delay, let's have at it and get this thing started.

    So how about it, a quick little blurb about yourself with a couple shots of your truck. That way we all know a little about eachother and what we're driving.

    I'll get this thing started. I'm a family man. I live right on the NJ/NY state border. I guess you can say I work in the construction type field. However, I've had many jobs in my lifetime. I'm kind of a jack of all trades and master of none. Here's my truck, my midlife crisis, and my mod addiction.

    If there's 1 thing I know about people who live in this area, it's that the people who live here are not shy in general. So let's go, who else is out there living in this fine section of the good ol US? Start tagging members you know and let's get a good group of guys who I'm guessing 1 day might be able help to eachother, @darkknight2014, @Borgs, @joem1cha3l.

    This is my point, just the 3 guys mentioned above we've been able to help eachother from the site in real life. I'm guessing there's more guys that live in the area that might be able to benefit from getting to know the guys in our area. I much rather buy something from someone who lives 30 miles from me, over taking a chance on someone from the other side of the country. No offense Cali guys, u know I got love for ya too, I've sent my fair share of things for free all the way out there too.

    I see plenty myself. That's why I'm thinking it might not be a bad thing to get a thread started of guys living in the area. That way if someone ever needs something, idea, product, or help with something it's a little more convenient, prices, are better, ect..

    I certainly don't need to spend any more time on this site, or get anymore ideas on how to spend my money, but I'm guessing that if I did, it would be better dealing with guys in the area that can relate and possibly be there to help if it was ever needed. Can't be a bad thing to get to know a little better the guys in the area.

    Trust me, I'm almost 40, I'm not out there looking or needing to make new friends. But I do see a value of a group of guys that live in the area that could help eachother or be of some use to eachother if needed. Plus u never know, maybe 1 day we cross paths at a gas station. Chances are pretty good that if someone lives in the area, with the way our trucks love gas, if there's 1 place to cross paths, it's probably going to be at a gas station. Lol

    Looks like my dumb ass messed up and somehow put it under south east instead of North East. Fat hammer fingers don't help lol. I'm use to holding hammers, wrenches, jack hammers, and drills, not typing little letters on a phone. I'm guessing the title though, guys can figure it out since I only know of 1 Tri State.

    I do, there's a place a couple towns over in Haskell. It's called Ziebarts or Zeibarts, either way, they're definitely in Haskell and do good work. I'm not sure on price. I had them tint my windows. I had a friend of mine take his 17 pro crewmax there to Rhino line and he spoke highly of them. I want to say it was somewhere around a grand to do. I can't claim to have the greatest memory to tell u the exact cost but it was around that.

    They do Rhino and a place closer to South Jersey off garden state parkway called GSD coatings do linex. I had them do my side steps. Both places do good work and I thought fair on price.

    Can't go wrong either way, Rhino or Linex is definitely your best bet and worth every penny over any other drop in liner, imo. Good luck either way but u should definitely call the 2 places I mentioned, can't hurt.

    What's up all. I live in Hunterdon County, NJ. I've had my truck for almost a year. I haven't made many changes to it but I have been able to check a few things off. I like the idea of a local group. Hope it continues to grow there are a lot of Tundras around.
