Hmm. I haven't heard of that problem before. And I think you ordered the same one I have and that others have used. Maybe they mixed up your order.

Just a silly question here, but you did try to install it by threading the cable through the logo from the front side, right? The camera doesn't fit through the hole, it mounts to the front side of the grill and the backing plate and nut hold it in place on the back side. It sort of sandwiches the logo.

Oops never mind. I just saw where you had the flush mount. I don't know much about that one.

Thanks to @MGMTundra251 my package arrived this morning and I put paint matched mirror caps and black door handles on during my lunch break. Now I just have to get that grille and paint my Platinum emblems and I'm all out of chrome. Thanks again man! :D

Also, I slacked off and didn't post pictures right away, but I did get my husky mats the other day and they're working like a charm.

Console safe from Spark's showed up today. A little more to the install on the '18 than I expected based on the videos that I saw - the '18 has small plastic rails forward and aft that needed to be removed by drilling out the rivets.

    Console 4.jpg

Forward left corner was bent down a little - might have taken a hit during shipping - bent it back into place after I noticed it.

Hey Zack nice truck btw. U just gave me idea looking at ur truck. Instead of me spending bunch for new bulge and still dealing scratch on hood. Tell me, show me more if u would about the bug shield u got. I'm normally not a huge fan of them but yours looks nice, it would serve a purpose in hiding my scratches and if it actually worked by keeping rocks from smashing into my windshield that would be a huge bonus. I've already replaced 1 and a huge rock hit me couple days ago causing least a chip. Tnx in advance.

If your truck had the rails it should have the tray as well. As far as your bent corner I would contact the supplier and ask for another one, just email him the photo you posted. You paid a pretty penny for the vault and it should be without flaws.

The truck came with the tray that sits on the rails, I just didn't realize that the rails would need to be removed until the box showed up. The bent corner was no big deal. I didn't even notice that it was pushed down until the safe was in the console. I pulled up on the corner and bent it back into place so you'd never know that it was bent in the first place. No need to send it back. I will put some trim protector around the drivers side opening to dress it up a little and cover the edges of the open side of the console safe as the edges are on the sharp side.

That bent corner is a *thing* we've told them about after we did a group buy. Now that Locker Down is selling a half-console option, I hope E&G Classics will either figure out how to shore up the corner. Or... maybe redesign so the bottom extends across the entire bottom of the safe (so all 4 bolts secure it), but eliminates the upper frame. I do like the half tray though....
