Vinyl Bumper Color Vote

Getting my bumpers vinyl wrapped today and still haven’t decided whether to go with black or white. What do you guys think? Borrowed a couple pictures from @gosolo and @Spolar as their setups are close to what I have.

Well hopefully the white they have matches, otherwise I’m going to just go black.

Well the vinyl place just called me and said they’re out of white. I’ve already waited over two weeks for the appointment. Think I’m just going to do black...

Yea. I was leaning pretty heavy towards black for a while. I like the white on the front but the black on the back. I’m doing lots of black and some red accents, so I think I’ll be happy with black.

The white is factory on this model, so you could just purchase white end caps at the dealership. Should be a perfect match and probably more durable than the wrap. Just another alternative...

 

Yea I know, I’m just going the cheaper route. So far by selling you and some others some wheels and headlights, I’ve managed to break even on mods. This is using some Christmas money. My wife doesn’t get why I’d want to change a $30k+ truck, so I have to go at very carefully haha

 

I did black because I just used plasti dip knowing I wasn’t going to keep the stock bumper long term and was going to ruin dip off road and need easy touch-ups. If I’d planned on keeping th stock bumper and wasn’t going to thrash it I’d definitely go color matched.

 

Well dang you all aren’t helping now that I know I can’t get the white today haha. I just want rid of the chrome mostly. I think I’ll be happy with black. Like I said, I like black on white, and I may add black fender flares later too. It’ll be more unique black also

 

I was happy with black. But if u look at other pics I have I also went all black on the grill which I think complemented the black bumper well.

 

white, i have mine at the shop now getting mine color matched. i like black and thought about it, but honestly i am a slob when it comes to washing cars.
if i did black it would look dirty all the time. i didn't wash the outside of my tacoma for 3 years, the only reason it was washed then was because i sold it.
i keep the inside clean, but to heck with washing the outside, i got better things to do. lol

 

Yea. My grille is bedliner black and I plan to do the emblems all black once it warms up.

 

If I was doing black I would just buy the plastic ends. I saw a used black truck at the dealer that had painted ends and they had lots of rock chips.

 

I figure it’s just a matter of time before the end caps get damaged or torn off from hitting a boulder or stump. They already have some damage.
