    Hey All -

New'ish owner of 2014 CM 1794 in Midnight/Attitude Black vinyl. I want to wrap my front bumper caps in vinyl, but can't seem to find a source for the metallic black paint...

Anyone else researched this and found a solution?

I could just go with gloss black, but I wanted to see if a metallic black vinyl existed.

    Thanks much!

I have a 2017 Limited, so I have the metallic black paint (218). I powdercoated my front end caps matte black, and it looks really good IMO (because it closely resembles the black plastic center bumper). I know you want to wrap, but perhaps the route I went may be an option for you too.

Ok, did it over the weekend. Mostly happy with it, but it is not a perfect match. Slightly more blue than midnight/attitude black.

It was a very time consuming and somewhat aggravating job. But I am happy with the end result. Materials cost $100, and I spent approx. 8 hours doing the bumper caps, hood bulge, and grill. Had help from a local friend with a 2nd gen tundra.

Looks good to me and I really can't tell a color difference in the photos. My question is, you go through all the trouble of wrapping the chrome pieces......why is your front bumper center section silver? I have never seen that before, I thought they were all black or body color.

Silver section came on the 1794 edition and I decided to keep it rather that wrap or paint the center section of grill and center bumper. I like the contrast between the black and silver, but could not stand the chrome.

Thanks, I didn't know that. I am still fairly new to the Tundra world and really only looked at the 17's and 18's when I bought mine and I don't think they have silver bumper centers.

Did you have to remove the corners to wrap them?
