I ran a bunch of loomed wires and a ground bus bar beneath the plastic trim / hood seal.

The route for dust lights. I took a piece of jacket from 12-2 Romex and used heat shrink tubing to secure it in place as a chafe guard where the wires enter the space between inner and outer bed skins. Then the passenger side crosses over to to the driver side where they both enter the cab and run beneath the door sills.

I don't want to be in DV and have to rely on the stock reverse lights if I need to back up. So, for now I'm gonna cut in some flush mount lights that have been on one of my work benches for 9 months.

I think these lights pull some power 'cause they came with a 40 amp relay (which I used elsewhere). So, I plan to tap into the reverse light and run that to a relay and run a bigger wire from the relay back to the lights.

Damn 40amps!? Crazy. Good call on installing a relay. Another reason to go switchpro! No messing with relays and you can fire it from the console anytime.

Does anyone have a 110V inverter that they are happy with? There are so many of them on Amazon and none of them appear to have universal praise.

I use my Baofeng exclusively outside of my truck, so the battery eliminator won't work for me. I saw that they also have a USB charging cable that plugs into the cradle.

I figure either me, my son, or someone else is going to have something that they want to plug in, cameras, radios, blender, etc. Rather than either blindly choosing one or going solely off of Amazon reviews, I thought I would see if anyone on here had one that they liked.
