Thanks! I'm always up for Shenanigans so I may have to hang out a bit haha.

Very nice picture! It has always been a dream of mine to travel the country and ride some tracks down South and out West. In Pennsylvania we have some good tracks but it would be awesome to try out some different setups.

I recently tore my PCL (grade 1) and it has made me rethink the whole riding thing. I may get out of it...

Sounds like a good time already @Sunnier !

That would be awesome to travel around and ride for a week or two. Be so sore after like two days though haha. I've only riden a handful of tracks in CA, if you ever get the opportunity Zaca Station is an amazing track to ride!
Ah man that's rough, sorry to hear it!
I understand, I've thought about it as well but dialed it back a bit and am hoping that keeps me in one piece.

Pala is nice, several tracks and decent dirt.
I heard Zaca is awesome but it’s invite only right? I got invited to ride Chaney Ranch once up by Warner Springs and that was super fun. Track was awesome and getting passed by McGrath and Tortelli on the same lap was cool, hahaha. Sold my bike just over a year ago but missing it too much so need to get one again. Hopefully this year.
Is ecc in your user name for Escondido Cycle Center or am i way off with that?

    I'm partying.

And by partying I mean sitting on my couch watching Supercross, SNL, and now catching up on Dakar.

There may or may not have been a few beers consumed.

Same here. My party days died when I moved in with the gf. Before that, it was almost every weekend in the bar ... mingling.

Good to hear, I can't wait to ride Pala.
When I was riding Zaca it was open to just show up and pay the track fee. I've heard it's invite only now but I haven't been there in years.
WOW that would be fucking cool!
Yep, escondido cycle center. Back when I lived up north I got my hands on an old team ecc RM125 race bike. I rode that for a couple years, sold it for an 04 crf250r and called up ecc to see if I could get graphics for it. The guy was all "well we don't make them any more but you're sponsored right?" Me- "Uhhhh yeah sure" Him "Ok I'll get a set printed and sent out to you!"
Since that first RM I made this username for the mx forums and it just stuck. It's funny, living up north escondido was a million miles away and no one knew, down here it's recognizable haha.

Fingers crossed! It's tough, but dial it back just a hair and all of a sudden everything is in perfect control. There's of course the times I've washed out and what not, but haven't had a hard crash in some time. (knock on wood)

    You could say that -

Went camping in Idyllwild over the weekend. Turns out black mountain was hit with some snow! Left my truck and home and rode shotgun in my gf's truck.

It was pretty cold! The trail with snow was a couple thousand feet up from where we camped, so it didn't get freezing cold fortunately.
First time for us driving through the snow! Wild how slick it was, we couldn't make it to the top in 2wd but still had a damn good time :D

Moto, you can’t just quit riding cold turkey. What I found really helps is wheeling your truck. :D I recently decided no more track for me, I had a hard crash last time out and my back just can’t handle it anymore. I still might hit some trails occasionally but I’m finding when I get the urge, taking the truck out instead makes me forget about riding. Just being on dirt makes me happy.

You are both right. This injury for some reason is like my final straw. When I quit riding street I went back to dirt to get my fix, I may need to do more mountain biking instead haha. My truck is a bit of a street queen. I have two utility quads that I can have some fun with too, not the same though.

I may dig through some old MX pics to post!
