If you've got your eye on a particular cover that interferes with the rails, you can drop the rails with these brackets

Revolver X4 is out, because I was told the front bulkhead factory rail has to be removed. I use the front rail for a bicycle mount

Solid Fold 2.0 seems well built in person, the Lomax rail is a slim line rail system, and has 4 engagement points on each side, along with 2 in the front, for a total of 10 locking points.

Thanks for posting!. I think I'm going with the low profile Lomax myself. Especially since it uses the deck rails and doesn't move or remove them.

 

Any more reviews / input on this cover? Looking to get one for my DC. Maybe a group buy?

I am interested in the Lomax, but may just do the Solid Fold 2.0, due to 4 clamps, no rails, etc.

 

That's my 2nd option. Only problem I have with the Solid Fold is that it covers the bull rings. If folded forward, the rings on the back is usable but the fronts will never be usable. Just a big option for whenever I have to strap something tall which I do on occasion.

If you have the Toyota track system and cleats you can secur cargo. I ended up with the Solid Fold 2.0 at my Toyota Dealer with a 3 year labor warranty as well. AMP Research steps as well...

 

I got the rail but the cleats are still in the packaging in my garage lol. I've left cleats on the rails b4 and they've seized on me. It's a PITA to take off or move afterwards. Just a hassle and bad experience so I don't use them any more. Too lazy to lube them once in a while. I'll still give the Lomax a chance and see if it's even worth it due to the lack of reviews, but the Solid Fold is definitely on my list. Thanks for the input.

 

Will the extang 2.0 still work with factory bed extender on 3rd gen crewmax?

 

If your bed extender falls even or below your rails then it'll clear it. Just make sure you select your correct bed size when selecting your Year, Make, and Model.

Yes. It could be 5.5', 5.6', or 5.7' on several different sites. All the same.

 

Did you ever get a reply back? I contacted Lomax/Agricover directly to see if there was some sort of deal that they could provide for a group purchase. I stated that it's very unlikely that people that owns Tundras would drop close to $1k for a cover that has limited reviews, pictures, videos, instructions, etc. for our vehicles. He stated "Sorry, I can't undercut my vendors" he then tried to just give me some generic information about the cover and try to sell me one lol. Pretty sad... At this point, if there's not a good deal soon, I'm probably just going to purchase a cover from Amazon. For the price of a Lomax or the Extang, I can get 4 covers from Amazon.
