So I was pulled over because of my squadron pros, at first I thought it was because they are too bright but the officer said he stopped me because they were green?!? I didn’t see it at first, I bought the amber ones and they looked yellow to me, but the more I looked at it the more I kinda saw it.

    BA6F015B-1B6F-4626-91C1-A4760644802A.jpg

He let me off with a warning and I was thinking, I can’t believe he stopped me for the color and not the output lol

    Solution:
I ordered some amber film and wrapped the squadron pros.
    Before and after

The difference is small but it worked.

Damn it u couldn't do that before I got myg sports huh. Lol. I had this idea so they'd match the stock amber but wasn't sure on the cut of output. I had idea to get the clear lens and do same on pro over going with amber sports. Let us know if u notice difference in output, I'm guessing it gotta cut at least a little. Looks great though. Don't make me return the sports for pros and do same lol. I think everyone I talked to about this thought I was crazy with my idea, but after seeing it, looks like I was onto something. Really nice man, good job.

Thanks man, and actually I do see just a very very tiny difference, it could be because it’s not that neon yellow anymore, the light is a slightly warmer tone.

They are still overkill lol I stand by my statement that the sports are more than enough for street use.

I've put weathertech's in all my vehicles for years and have had nothing but great luck. My wife said she doesn't have any problems with the passenger mat moving when she's with me and no one else has complained in my vehicles, but I've seen others have that complaint on here. The rear floorboard coverage for the crewmax is awesome ... the mats extend almost all the way under the seats and provide great coverage. The outer lip on the weathertech's also does a great job of keeping melted snow, water, mud, muck, etc. on the mat and from spilling onto the carpet. Can't speak to the husky's ... never had a set. I don't think you can go wrong either way.

Hey, @4x4_Angel, I just bought Husky Xact Contours, (instead of Husky Weatherbeaters), and will put 'em in today. I understand the Weatherbeaters are more of a plastic-y feel, and the Contours more of a rubbery feel. I got bought mine through AutoAnything and got a forum discount from @eccracer104. If you didn't know: he's a floormat and floorliner expert :drevil: ; starred in a commercial and everything! (He has Husty Xact Contours in his Tacoma.) Hecan probably let you know about differences in under-seat coverage. I know, for my double cab, I had 2 options of coverage for the rear floor area.

I gotta check to see if the rear mats have the Husky emblems on each side, like the front do. I know you appreciate inexpensive mods. If your girls tend to sit on the same side each time, it would be a great surprise for them if you

DSI Conversion, including 6" ProComp lift, Fuel Assault Rims, ProComp tires, SunTek protective film, BAK Revolver X2 tonneau cover, Bedrug bedmat, OEM Audio+ Reference 500Q
Today? How about since I picked her up, about a month ago...
    • Swapped the tires out, going to to a (very slightly) smaller size, so the 3/8" clearance under the garage door is now about an inch.
    • Had Suntek film put on the front, to protect from rock chips.
    • Had Suntek film removed by second shop, after seeing how crappy of a job the first shop did.
    • Had Suntek film put on the front again, and the bill for the second shop was paid by the first shop, who didn't charge me for their efforts. Low on execution, high on handling the problem.
    • Installed BAK Revolver X2 tonneau cover.
    • Ordered Bedrug bed mat; have it in the garage, need to wait for temps to be above 70 to install.
    • Bought seat covers for when I take the pups to the park. Three Dalmatians, black interior; I'm just trying to stay ahead of the fur...
    • Trying to decide on a console vault. Will be in San Antonio today, for my wife's citizenship ceremony, (damn Canucks, stealing all our jobs...), so may stop in at Lock'er Down.

Get the Husky XAct and the full rear cover under the seat. If you do go with the storage bins, you can easily cut the Husky liner to fit it perfect. That's what I did, if you need photos, let me know.

Going to attempt to change my own oil tomorrow. My father-in-law will be helping which he does his own oil all the time. But any tips at doing it on the Tundra?
What oil does everyone like to use? Any certain oil filter?
    Thanks..!

Can you post photos of both front and back mats? The XAct are the ones I'm leaning towards but would like to see them in our trucks.
