Guess the title of the thread kinda gives it away....:)

Was recently at an Autoshow and a national Toyota rep said, "you have a TRD Pro double-cab? Those were really rare..."

I know they only made an estimated 3,500 of them each year. But, has anyone actually found a site or information on how many of each color and which cab types?

    Many thanks!

I have one, I know of one other DC pro in my area. Times I wish I had CM but having 6.5 bed is awesome!

I have one and I have a buddy who has one. Other than that, I have only seen one other double cab pro in my area. The buddy who has one was told by his dealer that there is around 300 of each color made each year. I don't know the validity of that but I wouldn't be surprised If that was true.

I didn’t even know they made a dc pro until I saw a inferno one in my neighborhood, after that the hunt was on.

I got lucky and found mine a hour away.

I love it, living in this huge city I see a cm pro every now and then but I never see another dc. I didn’t even see the inferno one again, it’s like a majestic creature lol

I our town of 40,000 I've only seen one other Pro and it was a CM, also in Red.
In my case, had to fly to RI for a DC in Red and also got lucky as it is not a FF, which was the only engine available here.

Based on responses, though, they definitely ARE rare...

Figure somewhere there has a to be a stat sheet of how many and in what color/cab. Maybe in Mr. Toyota's desk or something.....anyone have a key? :spy:

I live in a major Tundra market and see a lot of CM pros, but never a DC

In the Tampa Bay area I have seen one other CM Cement Pro, 2 Inferno CM Pros, and 2 White DC Pros. The craziest thing is, one of the White Pros is being used as a work truck. It had dents all over the sides of the bed and the bed was filled with work crap. I almost shed a tear!

That would be GREAT! Online I can only find the totals for the years, but not the specifics.

I was told when I considered ordering one that each year there are three colors available at 500 bulids per color, per cab config. 3000 total. 1500 DC 1500 CM. But that is just what this dealer said. He was a regional manager, but that doesn't mean it's true.

My dealer did say that the DC was no longer available as of 2017 too.

    Ha ha....we're still special.

Looking at the total sales numbers for the Tundra, for the years 2015, 2016, and 2017 the fine folks in Texas built 350,574 trucks. Of that number, ONLY 2,343 were Cement and not all of them were CM's. Soooo....only 0.0066% are like yours. Pretty cool. Mine is equally rare at 0.0020.

    I'm good with it....:)

As far as I know I have the only DC Pro in my area. I almost purchased a Cement Crew Max while my DC was being built but the need for cargo space out weighed my interior needs. So someone in my area got lucky since Jose are the only 2 I know of

I'm surprised at the rarity of the trd pro in general. I drive a ton, all around Chicago and the collar counties, and I think I've seen a total of 5 trd pros ever. None of them were double cabs. Now those fancy raptors on the other hand, seem to be a dime a dozen around here...
