Thanks for the update. I will definitely have to go drive one and see for myself. Sometimes having the enclosed back is more useful and I may be able to get along without an open bed.

I would love to have confident handling without it acting like a couch on wheels.

I do wonder how the TRD sport suspension now compares to the platinum with the adjustable suspension in the sport mode. I will have to go and compare but if anyone has experience please chime in.

I can tell you my father and mother in law have a 17 Lexus LX570..probably the same stuff as the platinum sequoia or even more..it’s like a couch on wheels I hate it...the sequoia with sway bars and the trd shocks handles SOOO much better

Congrats on the Sequoia. That's a nice ride. Now you just need to add a 3rd gen Tundra front clip and a supercharger.

Nice rig!! Now I want to see a pic of the Doberman, I have a 2 yo black and tan female and you're right she wont sit still. I don't let her ride in the truck because she would scratch everything up for sure.

Here is our boy, he is now 5 1/2 years old, we got him when he was a little over 3 years. He is a rescue (we always get rescues, trying to save one at a time) and turned out to be a great dog. Easygoing, loves people, especially children, he is well mannered now after some training and a lot of patience. Dobies are the best dogs in my book.

We used to have a B/T female who was not easygoing at all. Strangers better not even attempted to walk up to my wife and she followed you every step of the way if you came into our house. She was all business.

Pretty dog! Yea our female is very protective of the house, yard, and us. We don't get her out as much as we should but she packs a big bark when she's actually a big scaredy cat. Once she gets to know someone she loves them but it's that first introduction when she's not so pleasant.

What pretty girl, I love Dobies with floppy ears!

And I highly respect you for rescuing, there are so many dogs in need of a loving forever home. I know, I know, most of my friends call me a tree hugger because I am big into animal rights and have been a longtime member of the HSUS and donate on a regular basis to them and local shelters.

Ms Maggie. Luckily she didn' get as big as her parents, 65lbs is plenty big for a lap dog.

    Beautiful girl.

Max weighs 90 pounds and thinks he is a lap dog and like yours, his favorite spot is on the couch next to my wife. The good thing is that he never jumps up on people so he doesn't knock any kids down and get in trouble, he really is just a big baby.

Man, if I would get that dark of a tint here in Missouri the ticket would cost more then the tint job. 35% at the front side windows, that's it.

How is the gas mileage on the Sequoia, about equal to the Tundra? I really love the looks of your SUV, the color is just perfect for it.

I was getting 16.5 in my tundra...overall it says I’m getting 17.0mpg right now with just 300 miles on her. On the trip to work today which is 80% highway i got 20.9mpg...I’m assuming when it all settles I’ll get around 17...60% highway 40% City is what I usually do in Vegas

Not bad, I figured it is close to the Tundra. I have almost 3K miles on my now and my overall average is a bit over 18 mixed but I drive sensible.
