@MannyFresh, Did you get LED's or HID headlight bulbs? Also they look to be projecting a blue light. Is this the case? or are they white? Thank you in advance.

I just ordered the GTR Lighting from headlight revolution. Ordered the Gen 2 LED headlight bulbs.

I have been looking at the same LED lights. From what I could see in the video the driving lights were much brighter but the brights weren't that much brighter then the driving lights. Now that you have them, how would you compare all the light settings?

I bought the LED conversion kit for the headlights, they are the 10k light cover that you can choose to get, cover is for the bulb and it emits a blue tint to it. Makes the lights close to being as bright as the HIDs but without having to install the extra ballast for it.

The brights ARENT much brighter, but honestly you wouldn't even think to need them. between the LED headlights, LED switchbacks for turn lights that go all white to orange only during turn signals, you have a lot of light shinning on the road.

the biggest question is how many times a day are you getting flashed by oncoming drivers that think you're driving with your brights on due to scatter?

That I've noticed? None lol. I do see folks squint their eyes when the light shines on their side or rearview mirror, but for the most part, nobody really gets too bothered.

Our stock reflector bowls aren't designed to for HID or LED bulbs, so the light pattern gets thrown all over, like in the eyes on oncoming traffic. You know, when the guy coming at you doesn't turn off his high beams and blinds you, that's you, but it's your low beams! Haha.

These things happen, haha... If light output if really important to you, if you think it is worth the expense, you get get great HID output with proper beam pattern and cut off if you go with a projector retrofit. I'm in the process of retrofitting my headlights now, well chipping away between work and family, etc.. I plan to post up a DIY in the lighting section when I'm done. I will try to post some before and after shots of the headlight output.

One thing i like about the tundra, is how we can adjust our lights up and down. When i raise the front i will be able to lower my lights so i dont blind on coming traffic. Here in the south it is getting bad with trucks with lifts and brighter headlights with no regard to others. Most people don't change the angle of there headlights to acamdate the extra hight. They run with bright fog lights that are now pointed up and lowbeams that blind everyone. I will do an up grade myself but it will be adjusted the right way. One of my reasons for a future light bar will be to shine back into the windshield of the ones that dont consider others.
