    It’s in the navigation settings.

Page 229 in your navigation manual shows you how to select/unselect toll roads.

Thanks, I wish it was as easy as it is to do on my phone without it not allowing me to do it, or having to come to a complete stop. That's frustrating. I'm looking for a good head unit to replace it, but not overly expensive

The FRAC system should allow you to change it while driving and not have to come to a stop.

If you replace the head unit with an aftermarket unit you will loose a lot of functionality and aftermarket will not display any radio or navigation info on you instrument cluster screen. If you really feel the need to operate your locked out function while moving you can buy a FRAC harness to override the system as mentioned above.

If you don't mind, what functionality would you be speaking of? What are the pros of the head unit we have? The navigation doesn't even have our 3 year old neighborhood, or gives me slower routes than what my Google maps on my phone. The screen is difficult to see when it's sunny too. I'd like something with Android play eventually, but will have to wait a bit to buy it. Just wanted your honest opinion. Thanks

You will loose all the ECO stuff, maintenance reminders and there are many vehicle customization features that you can only change via the head unit (if you have JBL). Look in your owner manual and you will see that there are three tiers for programing vehicle features: Instrument cluster, Head unit, Dealer.....all you will have left is Instrument cluster. It may not be important to you but I like to keep all that stuff. On the other hand if you buy one of the better Kenwood unit you get gauges, DTCs and some other stuff (I had one in a Ford before), it really is a toss up.

Thanks for the info. I will look more into. I just wish we had better features and ways to add apps to the head unit other than those few from entune

I ditched mine for a Pioneer Avic 8200 with front and rear cameras. And it has a great nav system. And the stereo sounds 100% better.
