Hi Guys, not to long ago I posted some pictures of my new Tundra TRD.
I'm starting a new Thread now to start to show my build. I will update this as time goes by and this may take me a long time to finish.

The 2 first pictures are for the day I got it. Taken at the dealership before the drive home.

Thanks guy's. I may do like sean266 did and wrap the bumper caps. I was going to try plastic dip in black to get an idea of how this color would look with an all black bumper. So many nice trucks on here.

    Things yet to do:
    Blacking out the badges
    Blacking out bumper caps
    275/70r18 ko2's with leveling front-end. (Possibly 6112 and 5160)
    Radar detector install
Speaker upgrade with amp and sub
    Light bar in bumper
    Rubber mats
    Upgrade alarm
    Remote start
    And some LED lights.
    Darker front tints
    Tint on top of windshield
And somthing better for the center box
Also i would like to make one 12v outlet always hot. I haven't found any how to links on that one yet.

I started back doing a few things to my truck but had to stop. I ended up hurting real bad and had to go yo the hospital for Appendicitis. Now back out with a little pain and here some updates. Blacked out emblems, tailgate carbonfiber letters, blacked out front bumper. Tomorrow i will add the blacked out rear bumper, husky floor mats and wether tech deflector.

I used plastic dip. It was simple and safe way to see how it would look, and the reviews seem to be good. Toyota makes plastic bumper caps and black badges, but that would have been at a cost close to 800.00.

Hey bud, nice truck! Did you have the chrome painted or did you order to match(on the grill)?

I ordered it painted off ebay. I looked up the paint code for toyota inferno and did a search for the grill with that paint code.

I'm sure someone else has done it too, I just hadn't seen it yet. Was ready to jump in and accuse you of stealing my idea on the black hood square. Did mine with plasti in November. Really happy so far though have one spot to touch up. Free hand taping the curve was a pita.

Red one too, so following to see how it goes. I'm jealous of the running bars, mine came with chrome and black plastic step. Yours would fit much better with my much darker overall red/black with tiny bit of chrome accent.

Did you do your own window tinting? I know next to nothing about it, but if easy enough would love to save the money diy for other things. (Need to get my tail letters, stubby antenna, etc etc while still saving the last few for a SC)

I was looking for a pro like the one i have, and during my search, i got a lot of ideas from the Internet. Once I got this truck i started looking at some things to do to and got a lot more ideas. I have several other ideas and didn't want to over do things, but still personalize it too. I have never had anything this flashy, nor have i ever had a new vehicle before. So all of the sudden im looking at all kinds of ideas. I have see the black on the hood of many trucks and thought it may look good on this one. I looked for other trucks on Google saw a few. My wife worked for years at a place in Miami that does custom work to higher-end cars. They have worked on a lot of celebrity's vehicles throughout the years. I drove to Miami to see some family and we stoped by her old job and one thing led to another and they started going through ideas of what we could do. New tints on the truck and the black on the hood. We talked about doing more but i didn't have the time. They do really good work there. I had a few ideas but they helped pick what i have now, the owner himself did the hood for me. I was also looking to do some kind of wrap at the bottom of the truck that would help protect the paint through the years, but may also just lynx a few inches of the bottom. We also looked at doing something else to the tailgate as well. They use 3m on just about everything and im glad i used 3m now. 3m doesn't cause problems with my radar detector and does a great job as tints.
