Here are some pic of my washed out camera, anyone have an ideas? The factory radio works fine,

 

And you tried setting the camera contrast and brightness right

 

The connections are all tight? I know stupid question but mine wasnt seated all the way and had similar problem @guyp2k

 

Was looking in settings, is yours cam on factory or aftermarket? Mine is set to aftermarket.

Quick question to those of you that have this. If using Spotify, does it allow playlists to be saved for offline use like an iPhone etc. does? Or can it play Spotify through an iPhone being connected via usb?

 

Has anybody experience faster bootup? I just turned my truck on a few minutes ago and the HU booted up within 10 seconds!

Update: looks like it was a glitch because none of my SWC didn't work and the HVAC info wasn' displayed but did work with the dials and onscreen controls. A restart fixed.

 

I don't use Spotify but Pandora allows me to play offline radio stations that were on phone smartphone.

 

Well the head unit still booted up after sitting outside all day, it was -8° when I put it back in garage.

 

What the hell is with all this popcorn?

couple of days ago I checked, they said that they were still working on it. It seems that it's not as easy as they thought. I will release the fix once it's available. Sorry about the inconvenience

 

NP , I'm used to it already but update would be nice for wife.

So exactly what does this "firmware" do? Is it just fixing the HVAC issues or is it something else?
At over 400meg that tends to make me think it is a whole new ROM build.

I also looked in the usual "APPS and Maps" dropbox location and did not see it there.

Check this out, while at 4WP store getting my Tundra re-geared the Technician made a comment after seeing my Phoenix Android 12.1" Head Unit....

 

Anyone care to provide impressions after using the unit for a month plus...any issues? How quickly does the backup camera engage after starting....do you have to wait 20 seconds for the unit to completely boot up before the camera will display? Does this use the stock gps antenna? Also, interested in iPhone integration as I’m an Apple fanboy. Thanks

That's an awesome system...

 

Take it for what it's worth, if you care about audio quality then this HU is not for you, the sound quality was atrocious (I'm an audiophile and audio is important) I may have had a faulty HU, but I had issue after issue and finally had enough. I switched to Kenwood 9904 and the audio was night and day as well all the functionality just works and works well. Again, I may have had a faulty HU and others can provide there feedback. Also, I sent my HU back within 30 days and they have had my HU for 2 weeks and I am yet to receive a refund.

 

Thanks for the update. In earlier posts someone posted a couple of Youtube videos and he fixed his audio issues....he reported it was worse than stock but found that the unit was not using the stock amp. Anyway, hope you get your refund.
