On my way home from work, sitting at a red light. Guy behind me lets his foot slip off the brake. Rolls right into me. Truck is six months old next week.

Hope he had insurance, new one on order come Monday.

    Probably texting.

Sorry man. That is a big inconvenience. At least he wasn’t going 35 mph right?

Yeah, he’s got insurance. Seems like a decent guy. He actually lives a couple of streets over.
He said he was digging in his console and just screwed up.
His Chevy truck was a 17 also, so he was pretty upset too.

Accidents do happen, and it sounds like he was pretty upset with himself. Good reminder about distracted driving.

Good thing that Chevy wasn't a Ford, otherwise they couldn't get the dents out.....

Try to look on the bright side it's just a bumper. Easy replacement. I manage a body shop and of course have a brand new 17 Crewmax. And even though I painted for 26 years I would be devastated if I had to paint any panels on my truck therefore in my mind telling myself it's no longer new and unscathed..... no one except yourself will ever know it's been bumped because it's a replacement. I hope to God I or anyone else ever wrecks my truck !!!!
