Right on! Enjoy your trip

 It isn't weird... it's... uhm..... normal? Lol.

I'll check with my lady and see when we're free. I know we're helping some friends move in this weekend, next weekend I'm building some headlights for a TW guy, and the last weekend is Superstition. Maybe the weekend of 1/20-1/21? Does that please the crowd? February is also open if that's better.

It's not weird. I think everyone here is a little obsessed with the site or just really obsessed with our trucks lol
    Happy early bday! :woot:

Third weekend of this month looks doable not sure about February yet. Too early to tell.

We should get the other guys involved in this and see who's open :redxfall:

I’m a couple months out... however we are starting to reach out to friends that we still know in SD for the possible trip. We still don’t have the dates locked down but as it looks I’m going to need the insurance on the rental car lol

Haha even better! Big groups are a nightmare on the trail. Fun at camp though lol.
Anyone feeling like camping or just a day trip?

Hahaha! We'll scout it out and let you know just how much rental insurance you'll need.

I think a day trip would be good for the temecula run. How was it camping in Joshua Tree?

    Good morning, Guys!
How did you mount your camera for these trail recordings? I've got a GoPro, but haven't figured a way to secure it, but I can tell from these vids that you've found a way.
I would love to meet the 3rd weekend of January, and will hold it open, in hopes that it works for you guys/ gals!

    Thanks!

The guys with aftermarket everything and tall tires? :notsure: Ohhhh, you mean the crossfit guys who will buy our energy drinks to offset trip costs?!!
"Cray cray"?? Your phone be, like, throwin' slang.

I'm game for a day trip.

Camping in JT is great, but it needs to be the right time of year. Our last trip out there got a little cold at night, but bearable. Fall is the best time, still hot during the day but night time in a t shirt is nice.

I'd like a day trip the first time. Camping in future once we know we all hit it off in the Real World.

Also, I vote we try the 3rd weekend in February so we may also go in February.

I think he stuck a mount to the top of the windshield, near-ish to the rear view mirror.

    Cool, let's set it up!

Hahahaha they only appear to wheel, but you get there and they forgot how to air down.

Day trip sounds good to me. Might be too cold to camp anyways. Haha I hope we all get along!

So 1/20 for the first trip and then 2/17 for the second trip yes?

1/20 YES. @Marty McFly let us know when you've talked with your :ballchain: and can commit. Once we have at least 3, I feel like it'll be good, and if we can get The Other Guys, it'll be even merrier! @pschiller86 , @BestGen

As for February, I already know, 2/10 would work better for me (in Temecula area) than 2/17, because I'll be up in that area the morning of 2/10 anyway.... But I may be able to make 2/17 work, if that works for others.

Edit: I responded within your quote, so I wouldn't have to copy/ paste your user name multiple times. Lazy.

Ahhh yes I believe he used one of those sticky mounts.
They have suction cup mounts which would work perfectly right there and 100% removable

    I'll make a thread :)

As for the February meet we'll do this one first and then set up round 2

Marty. It occurred to me, you could edit the title of this thread any to anything you want. Like, right now, it could be the 'Official So Cal Shenanigans and Best Mexican Food' thread.
