I tinted the third brake light to match the new Recons. I just did one coat, but I tried to even it out and it ended up pretty dark.

I like them. They ride pretty smooth and have handled icy roads and dirt roads well. They have suited my needs and I would consider them next time around.

Sorry for being so late. Here's the complete retrofit pictures! Also, added a toolbox to hold all my crap. SCS wheels, 295/70/18 tires, and 3/1" leveling kit all coming up in the next few weeks hopefully. Now just gotta erase all that chrome!MVIMG_20171231_162634.jpg MVIMG_20171231_163102.jpg MVIMG_20171231_164619.jpg MVIMG_20171231_164608.jpg

So when you epoxy the projectors in place, you have the lights mounted in the truck? I had retros done but have another pair of headlights and I'm getting ready to retrofit 'em.

I did personally but it isn't completely necessary. It was easier for me that way but as long as you have somewhere you can mount the lights the exact same way every time then you wouldn't have to mount them in the truck. For example, when I had my Nissan Frontier and was first learning to retrofit a guy told me that he used some scrap 2x4's and made a small mount with holes drilled in the wood to bolt the light housing to, and just clamped the wood 'mount' in his vise so it couldn't move and then would bolt his light to that, mark his beam, and then do his retrofit, and then when he went to align the new beams he would mount it right back onto that piece of wood and align. That method would be easier for you if you only had a garage 20-25 feet long that didn't allow enough space for you to park your truck inside with the lights attached to mark and align the beams.

    Thanks Zack, I get it.
Any idea why one of yours rotated? I'd like to avoid that if possible.

After you align them with steelstik you're supposed to tighten the nut on the back finger tight and then JB Kwik it in place. I tightened it finger tight and then used channel locks to tighten it a slight amount more. It worked perfectly for one, but if I had to guess I would say that that put tension on the projector and it rotated because either the steel-stik wasn't quite 100% cured, or it was cured and it rotated slightly the only direction it could move. My advice would be to just tighten it finger tight and then Kwik-Weld it in place, and not tighten it more like me haha. I almost certainly didn't need to anyway, I'm sure the Steel-stik and the Kwik-Weld are more than strong enough to hold it all. That drivers side gave me some problems. There was that, I scratched the lens putting it back in and had to buff it out, when I resealed it somehow there was a piece of permaseal stuck in the lens so I had to re-bake it and take that tiny pieces of it out, and re-seal it, my shroud arrived with a chip in it so I had to wait 3 days for a new one before I could finish. I would imagine if your light isn't jinxed like mine you should have no issues. :D

This is where your cuts off should be. As far as adjustments, on a factory headlight there is a white bolt on the back of the housing you turn to adjust up/down. I don't know what the Spyder's are like.

Does the swing case feel like its gonna hold up. Cant tell if the plastic is cheap or if it feels like a solid box. Would love that kind of design in aluminum .

Installed these projector fog housings. No bulbs yet but the halo running lights look great! I'll take a better picture in the daylight. They're bright enough at night that my phone camera can't distinguish the halo, so there's a close-up for that. MVIMG_20180101_174639.jpg MVIMG_20180101_174501.jpg

Took it to a convoy for the fallen Deputy with the family. We had around 100 vehicles show up to convoy! Traffic control wasn’t that great, but nobody expected the turnout we had.
