Checking in with an 04 Tundra from the Great White North!

Used to have an 07 X-Runner but I needed to switch it up once I realized half the pot holes in the city were the size of my tiny truck. I've only had this truck for about a year and a half, but I'm not getting rid of it any time soon.

Currently I'm not running anything other than Kelly Safari 285/75/16 on stock wheels and a custom 1.25" block up front to even out the rake I had. Hankering for a Total Chaos LT kit and some All Pro sliders though. That TC LT kit is what dreams are made of.. but alas, getting fiber glass flares up here are a pain in the wallet.

It's a constant work in progress but I've lacked some time in getting it to where I want it. As for right now, I think it's alright.

Yeah, I think he gets me where I want to go..

    Catch you all around.

They aren't bad! Not as good as a dedicated winter though, that's for sure. I ran the Yokohama Geolanders for a while, and running them again right now until I get a chance to get em popped off.

Yea i am debating on what to get on the tundra for year round, i ran duratracs on the Tacoma, but heard mixed reviews on them for a full sized truck.

I had Duras on my Taco and loved it. I have TOYO Open Country's on my Tundra and they are wearing nice and even...little louder (of course) but still a great tire.

I do like my Kelly's. Essentially they are the same as a Duratrac, just a lesser cost point. Still aggressive with the tread and functions the same. Road noise is fine, wear is even, and they do what they need to do!

But I'm still purchasing a dedicated for winter. Mostly driver skill and finesse when it comes to winter driving, but I'd still like the added safety of the tire.
