LC7i users, anybody else lacking mids with the stock head unit?

Just wondering if anyone else has the same issue running into with lacking mids on the stock head unit. Wondering if I need to step it up to the LCQi. I even have the front and rear channels summed up. Appreciate any feedback.

Current Set Up:
Stock Head unit (non-jbl)
LC7i Line Converter
5 Channel JBL Amp
Polk Audio Components (front)
Kicker 6.5 rear
JL Audio Sub

 

@GNTundra wasn't it you who did the LC and ended up ditching it?

There's definitely people who've got strong opinions on the LC series. Should be chiming in soon.

 

I installed the LC7i. My mids are ok BUT, I can not cotrol front to back fader. I just learn to live with it. Whole Trundra stereo sucks.

I think I might have solved my problem. I had channels front and rear summed up before and took it off today. Sounds much better. I'm able to control front and rears separate. I'm trying to avoid replacing the head unit. Just required fine tuning and I think I have found the sweet spot.
