Wiper stuck to window.....again

So a few months ago my wiper blade stuck to my windshield and wore out the arm costing me a new wiper arm. Thought this was odd as its never happened before.....to me.....on any other vehicle. Toyota tells me its not warranty. Ok ok

After that bullshit ive ensured that my wipers are cleaned and not left on before turning the truck off.

So here we are today....truck runs for about a half hr (its fucken cold out). I look at the passenger blade and say hey this could be cleaner.....clean it and fire up the wipers. The goddamn clean driverside wiper sticks to the window AGAIN!.

This is not something i will continually do after spending 60thou on a basic truck.
I consider this absolute bullshit as my work truck has never had issues like this. Chevy. My buick never had issues. My tacoma never had issues. None of the work vans ive had ever had issues. Now twice in one season......
Ill be finding solutions for this in the next week and i might be looking at something that can handle some winter weather a little better.

 

I'm thinking silicon based wiper blades should fix that. Maybe try Bosch Icons. That's what I used in Anchorage.

 

This is where my mind was going. I switched to Rain-x Latitude and have had them for over a year with 0 issues. They cover up all the exposed metal which is what binds the ice.

 

That might be the route to go before getting to in depth.
Frustrated with the whole thing as we were heading out on a road trip to boot.

 

Sounds like a total PITA. Iknow I would be really frustrated to put it kindly..
