Lots of cement rigs on here. I just picked up an '18 Limited CM in cement (first Toyota EDIT: Whoa jesus I forgot about my old Tacoma!) two days ago and the dealership led me to believe that it's hard to get this color, and I fell for it. Options include TRD 4x4 (standard in this color), moonroof, bed rails w/ cleats, all weather floor mats, TRD exhaust, bed extender (stupid 5.5' bed) and clear bra. The last three were throw-ins that I'll need to have installed when they arrive.

I went back and forth on DC vs CM, but settled on the CM mostly because of the roll-down rear window and moonroof option. I hope I don't regret missing 1 foot of bed space because I plan to keep this truck for many years to come. I feel like the cab options for this truck are "massive af" and "a little tight back there". I would prefer a cab 6" shorter than the CM and a 6' bed.

Love the truck, but I have some nitpicks as well. The bluetooth phone audio is terrible. My Frontier would play phone conversations in surround sound and it was cheap little truck. The Tundra plays the audio through the left front speaker from what I can tell. Overall the sound system (Entune w/JBL) is very meh. No USB input in the center console, so my ugly white iphone cord is always there under the dash. Ugly. Lack of storage is a bummer for a truck this massive. I'll need to look into a console divider to tame the abyss and an ESP underseat storage box for tie downs, jumper cables, etc.

I really like the interior look and feel. The truck drives real nice and the headlights are amazing. The technology seems to work including the radar cruise control. It is a little weird to have the truck just randomly slow down when I'm pretty far still from the vehicle in front of me so I keep the range at minimum and that seems to work fine.

I will do a spray-in bedliner soon and haven't decided what to do with the chrome. I'm not a huge fan of all the chrome, but color matching everything is a black hole I might decide to avoid altogether. It looks good and everybody is doing it, but I'm just not sure I care that much. A nice 3/1 leveling kit with some 33's and nice wheels and I think the truck will look just fine.

Got mine a few weeks ago, now just trying to decide my best option of getting a paint matched grill surround. Already did the front end caps.

How did you match the bumper caps? Did you paint over the chrome?

Na, I ordered the OEM end caps, they are just plastic like the center part and black. I had a body shop paint match them and do the install.

I was told painting the chrome is risky. It is so hard that it will chip easy.

Kinda, the Tundra needs cut out, roof needs done, and hood inlay would make it work imo.

I am having mine painted locally, they do a lot of them, and he backs his work. Not sure about painting over chrome, but it seems like my best option. I kinda like keeping the metal bumper end caps over the plastic, so hopefully it works out.

Thanks. What did that run you for the painting and swap? I’ve read the same about painting chrome so will likely end up doing the same as you.

Snatched up a 2018 TRD Off Road Limited 4x4 in Cavalry Blue on Christmas Eve. Loving it so far. Shade doesn’t do the color justice but it’s been raining the past two days.

Black or cement on the bumper. Personally I think black would look best. Tailgate looks good as is. Great looking truck

Following the Cement theme, purchased mine during a Veterans Day sale. Need to color match that front end.

Did you relocated your own tss or did the grille come with a spot to put it in?

DSI Conversion, including 6" ProComp lift, Fuel Assault Rims, ProComp tires, SunTek protective film, BAK Revolver X2 tonneau cover, Bedrug bedmat, OEM Audio+ Reference 500Q
Mine is one of the plain ol' SR5s, with a DSI conversion done by the dealership, which included a 6" ProComp lift, Fusion wheels, ProComp 35x12.5 tires, Bushwacker pocket flares, inset lite bar, and Line-X'd bumper corners. I've since downsized the tires by 0.6" height, by going to a metric size. I like the one stop shop of having the conversion done all at once, and DSI has a 3 year, 36K warranty on their work. I'm have a BedRug bedmate on the way here, have a BAK Revolver X2 in the garage, waiting for install as soon as it warms up a bit, and just had Suntek Ultra protective film put on the front.

    None. Keeping this one stock.
2018 CM Off Road Black out Package, 4x4. Love it, except for the PCS and radar cruise. They keep turning off on me randomly. Have a regional tech involved as it's not storing any codes. Happens normally in the afternoon. Lasts about 5 miles, the poof, back to normal.

Traded in a 14 CM 4x4 Off road with 35K miles, not 32.5K and 3500 off from factory. Owed 11.5 on the 14.
