Well guys it happened. After seven months I have my first scratch. I’ve been dreading this so much. While backing in, in the pouring rain I bump into a concrete post. Thank God no dent. I’m so depressed :(

Depressed is a good word. I still get sad about my first little ding. Slowly, your eyes/brain will start to erase it... And life goes on.

Hang in there, Homie! I had a horrible thing happen at 320 miles I still don't talk about. We've got to move on. Be strong.

You were supposed to say depressed with a dent not without. De-pressed..get it.
1st scratch in 7 months, you need wider tires and a neg offset of 20. Lol.
Most of those will buff right out. Invest in a da polisher if you don't have one.

Maybe. But it's a black truck. I understand they're pretty unforgiving.

I’m out with my daughter. Took her to her favorite steak house for her birthday. It’s so dark in the parking lot I’m not sure how bad it really is. I could tell by rubbing my hand over it that it’s probably going need more than a buffing. Pulling in to the first well lit spot I can find when we leave here.

Feel your pain. I parked 1/8 of a mile away from restaurant to avoid mall drivers for that same reason. Looking at it as adding character.

I was backing between cars slowly. My back up cam was blurred by rain drops. I was not paying close enough attention and caught the post on the passenger side of the rear bumper. I don’t think it’s dented??? Have to get to better lit area.

Ok guys. After further inspection it’s not terrible. It did chip the paint, couple of small places. Now my wife thinks I’m a NERD cause I came here for consoling. She just don’t understand. Thanks for all the kind words.
