What size tire can I run with a 20 x12 wheel

I've got an 04 tundra 4x4 and would like to get some 20x12 wheels. It has a leveling kit on it. What size tire can I run and does anyone have any pics. Thanks

Man, that is WIDE. I'd love to run something like that on my 2016 but was told I'd have to do WAY too much cutting or hard rubbing to achieve a 12" tire let alone wheel. How bad does that thing rub? Is turning something of an adventure? I might make a sacrifice for some of it and cut a little as I love the fat look but don't want to have to back and forth turn just to get in a parking space.

 

function over form. 2-3 less inches of width and you don't have to spend your life hating on the fact that everything is rubbing all the time.

 

Personally, I prefer both if looking to spend $40-60k on a vehicle.

 

I'm running a 6" lift with 20x12 -44 wheels and 35" tires on my 2016. Just some basic trimming is all that's required on a 14+. Turning is still the same as if it would be on any truck with the lift.

 

Damn nice looking truck man. I've got a 3/1 on there now but looking at a 4.5" BDS. I wish I could go higher but I'll be left parking outside (a long ways away) at work if I go much higher. I think the garage is about 6'8. I'm curious how wide I could go on a 4.5" with 20" rims. I may also be able to get away with a 6" lift with 18" wheels.

 

Thanks! I believe my truck sits around 83-84". A 6" lift with 35's would probably be too tall for the garage then. I know someone running the same wheel size and tires I have on a 4.5" lift but said he had to do quite a bit of trimming/cutting and rubs still.

 

Yeah. That's what I figured. I may have to look at 33's on a 4.5 but I think that's dang near what the stock SR5 20" rims are already close to with my truck. I need to do some searching for someone else who is running something similar.
