    Everything. Literally.
Im thinking about plasti dipping the chrome that surrounds the grill on my MGM. Grill and emblem are already matte black, as are all my badges. Brake lights are VHTd, black wheels.
The only chrome left will be the ends of the bumpers.
Does anyone have an MGM with a similar look? And if so can you post a pic pls?
I’m just trying to decide for sure before I pull the trigger..

Try to color match it. I did grill and surrounds and it was a bit too much dip not enough shine. I've used rattle can scratch wizard color match from Amazon before and the color was really good. Here's a full dip grill look.
See what I mean...too much dip

My fix is the pro grill and bulge just ordered. On sale $434

Yeah I see what you mean. That’s what I’m afraid of..
    I’ll look into color matching.
    Thanks, broseph. I appreciate it.

No worries. Just prep the chrome a little. Self etching primer two rattle cans paint one or two clear coat. Easy. I did a lower air dam on a bmur and it held up to chips and road dibris well with the multiple coats.

That’s what I want too, Black, but like BakNBlak said, that amount of plasti dip just doesn’t look good. My grill insert came black and I PD’d my grill emblem, so black paint would definitely be the way to go.
Did you use a high gloss or just clear it a bunch?

Yup, spray paint. The mixing ball "rattles" when you shake it up..rattle can. You can order or some body shops will mix the paint and put it in the aerosol spray can for you. Probably easier to just order.

With plastidip you gotta have patience and layer it lightly...no I did satin...I didn't want a glossy look and no on the clear coat

I agree I think that part of the grill is best color matched.

i called about getting mine linexed and the shop here wouldn't do it, they said it wouldn't stick and would pop off eventually.
i was kinda ticked cause i have seen them on here. i had the front and rear bumpers of my tacoma (cbi offroad) linexed and they did great.
i have a appointment at a body shop next month to get them sand blasted and painted to match. i was just curious how the plastidip held up.
