2017 Tundra Platinum Interior Lighting

Hey all, I have a 2017 Tundra Platinum. I have never seen a vehicle with as poor of lighting in the interior as this truck. Specifically, nothing is naturally lit up in the dark except for the front and passenger windows. I have to turn the interior lights on to see the heated or cooled seats as well as the fan speed on the air/heat. Does anyone else notice the same issue? I am considering having some lighting installed that will run when the headlights are on. Any thoughts? Thank a in advance.

 

heated seats and fan settings should be lit at night. I think mine light up.. Door locks and mirror controls don't though.

 

They do not light up and I have taken it to two different dealerships and they say it isn’t designed to light up. It is a 2017

 

Have you tried the Dial that is also the ODO reset button? Turning it increases the Cluster Light intensity.

Are there settings in the entune radio that can be adjusted ?

 

Only thing I have that isn't lit is the mirror adjust and mirror fold buttons. Some guys have added a small LED above them.

Here are my buttons lit up. 2016 platinum. Should be the same as yours. Except for the red led above the mirror controls. I added that one.

 

Thank you! I replaced my factory radio with an after market. I wonder if that could be the cause of some of my issues
