    Hi all new to the forum. Just want to say I had many issues with my 17 sr5 lb taco and my dealer took care of me and got me into an 18 tunda dc sport.

    I upgraded from Taco cause I wanted a bigger truck and I got a great deal. I never had issues with my Taco causing me to upgrade tho.

    That’s because yours wasnt one of the many that had issues. I think it was just the Gen3. What year was yours? My first Tacoma had 300,000 when I sold it and now it’s around 415,000. My dad still has it after he bought it back from the neighbor. That truck had 0 issues, 1 engine, 2 timing belts, 2 clutches, 3sets of suspension, and only 6 oil changes :rolleyes:

    Not 1 time in the shop that wasn’t scheduled maintenance

    No issues with my 2008 tacoma, but after testing a new 2016 taco and tundra back to back I went 100% tundra.
    But now I regret in the winter, my taco had no electronic nannys and was fun to play with in the snow, this tundra not so much.
