    i agree. there are styling ques from most major auto makers that i feel are best left on that specific vehicle... raptor lights are on the top of that list.

    :D Who me Ron? No, not being negative about the lights, I like how they look. More a comment about my laziness to put on something I don’t absolutely need. I’m too lazy to even put on stuff I do absolutely need.

    I think they look bad ass on the Tundra. Lights are just lights, call them whatever you want but they look good. Besides, Tundra makes them look better IMO.

    They are DOT lights on the Raptor required because of their overall width meets DOT regs.

    It's the same as the lights on top of the cab that you see on a lot of dually's and larger trucks.

    Thanks for the metric conversion, now I understand...lol So, if you install wheel spacers or even fender flares, would we no longer be dot compliant? It's an interesting thought and I appreciate your posting the numbers.

    The reg is for any truck from the factory -is how i read it. Cause I am 89 wide with LT. Not sure a cop will stop you and pull out a tape measure. Its more a DOT thing.
