    Looking for some professional expertise!
    HYPERFLASH!!!
I swapped out my tail lights for a better/nicer brand. Even when the tail lights were out, AND disconnected, I was still getting hyperflash on the driver's side.
I have led switch backs up front, led 3157's for rear flashers and reverse. I do have resistors wired in. It's only the driver's side.
    Any suggestions??? Thanks in advance.

Same bulbs or different bulbs put in? Sometimes the bulb can be inserted (on a led) wrong causing no contact

Same bulbs. Didn't think to think that, if it were in backwards, it would still hyperslash. Previous bulbs wouldn't even flash, when placed incorrectly. I'll check that. Thank you.

Is a 50w 6Ohm resistor too much? I had a difficult time finding any 3Ohm, that would ship fast enough.

Put two 6 ohm resistors in parallel - that is the same as one 3 ohm resistor!

Do you mean, one for the front switchbacks, and one for the rear flasher, each side?

I am not familiar with Tundra wiring but I do know that two 6 ohm resistors in parallel is equivalent to 3 ohms. Wherever it calls for 3 ohms you can use two 6 ohms (or four 12 ohm) instead of one 3 ohm resistor . Just make sure they are wired in parallel.

And the reason it hyperflashes with the bulbs removed is because the resistance is infinitely high(much higher than 3 ohms) called for.

But the passenger side was good. That's what's throwing me off.

Did you try swapping resistors left to right side? If the problem moves I would suspect a bad resistor.

It is also possible that a wire or socket was damaged (creating an open circuit) while doing the swap.

Possible damaged wiring or socket causing an open circuit.

I would swap all bulbs and resistors from left to right side to eliminate defective parts as a possibility.

Good idea. I have plenty. I'll just replace it for s&g's!
If that doesn't work, I'll check the prongs & connectors. Thanks.

question..... if I splice the wires for the resistors, will thst kill the circuit loop?

Figured out the hyperflash. All lights work, except the tail lights. I have brake, hazards, flashers and reverse. NO tail.

That was my thought too. The only fuse box I know of if the one next to the batt. (2011 DC SR5). Checked 'em all. One by one. All good. Gonna head to Toyota tomorrow. Thanks for the help though.
