I think it turned out good.. I went to 2 shops they wanted over $125 to do what I did for $24 .. the thing is I liked my grill style just not the color.

Yes.. I sprayed 7 to 8 coats on the front and 2 to 3 coats on the back .

The only prepping that I did was wash it with some Dawn liquid detergent soap and then take rubbing alcohol 91 grain and wipe down everything with rubbing alcohol and let dry before I started to spray . I picked up the rubbing alcohol and Walmart .

No sanding at all and no primer .. and it's holding up great !!!

Is this still holding up well? I love the no prep of plastidip, but would prefer the look and ruggedness of bed liner.

I've got a white grille like this one on its way to me, and I'm planning to do this exact thing when it gets here. May use the bed liner on the chrome bumper ends too at some point if it goes well.

Well it’s made for the abuse a bed takes. And worse case scenario it is an anytime recoat deal so you could just spray it again. Couldn’t be easier to use.

Probably a small one. It sprays on pretty thick and real easy. Otherwise, you could definitely put some kind of filler on and then spray over it. I have a chip in the white surround I’m debating over how to fix now too.
