so, with these wheels, to avoid cutting removing, what would you guess the least amount up front i would need, to run 33.8" tall.
i have been considering the following:
OME and 612 springs (look like gets you 2.5-3")
    Fox Performance series (2")
    Fox Factory Series (2.5")
    Icon's (up to 3.5")

I had the icons on my Tacoma, and they were fantastic. That truck was my daily driver and i probably put 160,000 miles on them with no issues.
The Tundra is basically going to be my hunting, work on the farms truck. I will drive it to work some, but i got a car now also, so i will drive that more.
I really was just trying to avoid getting UCA's, so it looks like i need to stay in the 2" to 3" range based on my crash course in reading on here.
I just didn't want to turn the Tundra into a squeak box like my Tacoma was. Seems like i was always soaking the suspension with tri-flow.
That is my only gripe about coilovers, is that bushing that connects to lower arm, just squeaks like crazy, at least mine did.

Icon tested these wheels with 315/70r17 no rubbing at full bump. So at that height you are considering will be totally fine with minimal modification to none besides just taking off mud flaps. And out if your suspension choices I would run Fox , Icon and would prefer ADS or King. If you plan on just leveling it that size tire will be good. Hope this helps.

I have a 2017 Tundra running Icon six speeds with Icon 2.5" coilovers, set at the factory height. I believe about 1.75". Still alot of thread left exposed. Only removed rear and front mudflaps, no bmc. Toyota stock upper control arms and 285/75/17 Nittos. No issues at all. Hope this helps your decision.

Yea, that helps, the 285/75/17 just sounds like a great compromise, good height with not as much trouble.
I did all that with my Tacoma, i had that truck for 10 years. I wouldn't be surprised if i don't keep the Tundra for 12 to 15 since it is not my daily driver like my tacoma was for 80% of the time i had it.
I will probably just go ahead and get coilovers, just in case 3 years down the road i change my mind and want to throw on a bumper. I had cbi offroad front and rear bumpers on my Tacoma, they were sweet.
How much lift do the King coilovers give ? are they 2.5" or up to 3" ? I looked at them some last night, but they don't seem to have the heights posted like icons do.

So the six speeds with 315/70’s with a 3” lift will only need the fender liner pushed foreword? Do I need to remove the rear front mud flap?

setting just over 2 inches of lift with 295/70/17 it just rubs the front flap going backwards. Good clearance every where else20171228_092514.jpg20171228_092530.jpg 20171227_101047.jpg

nice, i like that. i have been looking more at tires i think i am going to run 285/75/17 on mine, probably the cooper stt maxx, they are 34". i had the pros on my tacoma loved them but man they were pretty loud on the highway, i think the non pro maxx is supposed to be quieter.

Really liking these 17’s. Is there a specific amount of lift required front and rear?

2.0 vs 2.5 coil over requirements for clearance? Or any standard 2-2.5 will work?

Same for rear... does it matter if it is block, shackle, new leaves?

In the icon video with 315/70-17 +25 offset wheels, it says no rubbing at all at bump and full lock. Does anyone know if they had the cmc done previously?
