2.5" lift front only=bulldog

don't know what I was thinking...all this time I thought 2.5" front spacer would level the truck..wrong lol..just didn't want to use any blocks in rear but from more research a 1" block will have it perfectly leveled and a 1.25" block will give the rear just a little higher lift from the front...I ordered the 1" block will post another thread when installed..here's a few with only 2.5" front lift

 

Looks good, I don't mind a tiny bit of rake, although I put a 2.5 spacer up front I realized my springs up front have sagged a little because my truck being an 08. So I only got 2" of lift up front, which left a little bit of rake. Plan on going with Toytec's ultimate lift when funds permit.

 

Use coach builders +1 shackles, stay away from the blocks.

I would think of all the blocks out there 1/2-1" blocks would be safe to run?

 

The biggest issue with blocks is that they move the axle further away from the leaf spring pack which can make the rear end assembly less stable, also the cheaper blocks don't have any pinion angle correction built into them. No doubt there are a lot of vehicles with block lifts out there, but that doesn't mean it's the best way to do a lift. If all you really need is 1/2-1" a set of the Coachbuilders +1 shackles would be the better choice.
Changing the shackles is Also easy and you don't have to replace the u-bolts so you don't risk messing with having to re torque a new set of U-bolts and risk that they could come loose on you and cause a mess

I'd pass on driving that truck!!!
That will be about as unstable as it gets, and surely need some ladder bars.
