    Just got a reply from "alex" from pheonix, he states andriod 7 isnt out yet. Lol im pretty sure it is he better start looking at his competition. They might have a smaller screen but they are up to date with software

    Arrrgggg, now I have lost my SWC. As much as I want to like and keep the HU, just too many issues and too much time addressing issues. Anyone have any suggestions to fix the SWC?

    Has any of you guys attempted downlading the 7.1.1 on the headunit? Wonder if its possible and maybe solve the usb mirroring issue with the newer note

    It' not designed for this unit. On top of that, this unit was rooted so a lot of functionality were custom made just for it which is why the vendor will not allow the consumer to completely factory reset it because the reset will remove the root.

    Just a few things that come to my attention after reading this on my PC.

    1. I can get a driving recorder.
    17. I can reset my Nav button to Google maps
    21. HU night brightness works with headlights on.
    22. guyp2k check to see if your right cam is on or off.

    After I get my air horn done I might check into Infrared or night cam to attach to this HU. That would be great for game, snow white outs and maybe fog.

    Now all we need to find out is how to enable night brightness because that would be great if it automatically dimmed when we turn on the headlights. It's somewhere there because we can adjust day brightness and night brightness.

    I like the sound inprovment of it over the JBL, Google maps and just about anything I could do on my S8 I can do on the Phoenix not to mention the size of it. Just hope my stock speakers hold up.

    I tried unless I did the process wrong, I went to SWC Study, held the key down and selected the appropriate key on the SW, nothing happened.....

    You may have done it backwards. Clear everyhing out first. Select an action on the SW assignment screen then hold down the appropriate steering wheel button.

    No dice, all the buttons are greyed out and when I go through the process they never change to green. They mention a resistance value from the wheel icon and I can't access that either, and the protocol they mentions in advanced settings I assume is TANTU H, which is selected.

    There support is limited and don't offer much in terms of troubleshooting. The did offer to send me an "orange" box :)

    I picked up a 9903s for 400 bucks. Pretty happy with it. It's in my 09 Challenger and it is highly configurable and sounds awesome.
