    No, the update does not reset the HU to factory and you shouldn't notice any difference.

    Yes I do , I thought it was a update for the android, was it just themes? I tried my S8 to mirror wireless and did not get it to work, I never tried the cable. Just after I did this update I tried the cable and got my S8 TO mirror. What is the name of that theme 1971? I don't know if the update had anything to do with mirroring the S8.

    I think it also fixed the mirroring with my phone any ways . here is the theme : ZYC UI ZYC Theme you have to change them both
    here is a link to see all the themes theme style is noted in upper right corner

    Anyone experiencing dark screen when wearing polarized sunglasses? I have to tilt my head to see the screen even when at its brightest.

    Just put the file in the root directory of your thumb drive. Then plug the thumb drive into your units USB.

    If you just drag and dropped it into the drive, then it should be in the root directory.

    Another dumb question. I recently got a note 8 the hu picks up my phone but then says fo verify on mob im trying to phone link so i can mirror via usb

    Any one know how to associate/default another application from top menu? I specifically talking about "file manager," I have purchased ES File Manager Pro and prefer to use that instead of the buggy, ad ridden ES File Manager that is default. Plus, it doesn't remember any of the settings, mappings, etc.

    Mine goes to the right cam by default as well. I say somewhere in settings where you can disable cameras.

    Do you have loud enabled in the audio settings?

    Try going into settings > more settings tab > Apps (left pane) > swipe to "All" on top right pane > scroll down to the file manager app you want to use > touch launch by default .

    Do I need separate hardware to control the DSP? When I make adjustments ro the DSP controls, I don't really notice any changes to the audio.

    for those of you using Nova Launcher, has anyone been successful enabling "Labs" from Nova Launcher settings? This allow you to add the Google/Pixel Weather Widget. I was able to do it from my S8 buy holding down volume that enabled "Labs" in the Nova Launcher Settings, but not the HU. Really would like to enable and add to my home screen. Here is what I am talking about:

    Yeah all the stock themes that have weather info has Chinese language. That's why I use Nova Lanucher.

    You do this in the Android Settings where you setup your WIFI.....look on the left side and select Language and you will see the settings that need to be changed on the right.
