    Got home late last night. Up early to pack the gear. Shoot all day today and all day tomorrow. Steamer died which means more Photoshop work on the wrinkles. Burning the candle at both ends but I need just a bit more buffer. Or be 25 again. No rest for the weary. Or is it the wicked? The insane? Doesn’t matter. After so many weeks on the road, it’s just nice to be working with 110% confidence.

    You likely wouldn't need it in Texas, but it's a lanolin-based product sprayed on frames, undercarriages, etc. to protect them from salt, rust, corrosion, etc. A lot of folks in cold weather climates that see a lot of salt on the roads use it. I started using it when I lived in Philadelphia several years ago and it does an awesome job protecting everything under the truck. I believe it was originally developed to protect industrial and agricultural equipment. Check out their website ... https://www.fluid-film.com.

    I haven't found a way to talk openly about it with @SouthBoundSteve, to find out if he (perhaps secretly) would approve, but I use Simple Green to clean my truck. Works great, foams up nicely (even diluted). And complies with all the eco-responsible requirements in CA, so I can wash my truck on my front not-a-lawn.

    I used to use Simple Green(full strength) to clean my nitro RC trucks. I believe that is what started to etch the aluminum parts. I think... Unconfirmed for sure, but I quit using it for that. I use it for everything else.
