I have a 2017 Tundra 1794 edition white. I love it but hated the chrome Grill. I bought a billet grill but did not like either. I just put on a 2017 Platinum Tundra Grill on and couldn’t be happier. Easy to switch out yourself.

Yes, I replace my chrome mirrors on my 1784 edition to white. You can also change the handles and bumper ends. Go on you tube and check out the videos on all this. Very easy to do yourself.

To me the honeycomb grille looks better then the all chrome grille and it depends on the color of the truck. A little subjective but I really like my combination, Limited center section with the brushed aluminum look and the color matched surround and hood bulge.

Your truck look super good ! Did you pant the grill ? Or you buy new colors match ?

    Thanks for the compliment.

I got lucky and found a complete 2017 platinum grille and hood bulge in my color for 325.00 shipped. I consider that a great deal.

Seems to me that one of the things fiat/dodge has going for their truck grills is that consistency of a center rib and middle cross bar. It’s been that way for more than a decade.
The way Toyota changes grill design is like a 14 year old girl picking a dress.
No continuity, no consistency & no care about how it might look next month.

I used my original center section (actual grille) from my truck because it houses the radar sensor for the cruise.

They are no different from Toyota grilles because Dodge or Ram has the same versions. Black, chrome or painted grille shell (surround), they also have several center sections for the different trim levels.

I put a 2018 sport grill on my '16 SR5 and think it looks way better than the stock SR5 chrome grill it came with. My $.02.

Let's see a pic. I think the 18' honey comb grills are way better than the 17' full of chrome SR5 grills. I hope more people start swapping their 18's for TRD Pro grills so I can pick one up on craigslist.

My Tundra came with the new grill; it was one of the design features that I liked about the truck. I think that it looks good - no plans to swap it out. The only other stock grill that I would consider going to is the Pro.

I really dislike the honeycomb and the 4 runner front end looks like a grumpy old geezer and the Camry front end looks like an insect. Wth is Toyota smoking? I'm just old school and hate new designs.
