Hey guys, so I thought it would be a good idea to try to run rigid LEDs as fogs, and began taking the truck apart. I put one rigid led in one fog light hole, shit didn't really match up, I turned the fog light switch on and it didn't work, either side. So I took it out and put it back to stock. Well... It still doesn't work. Neither side. I've checked every fuse under the hood and under the dash and they all look fine. I replaced the fog light relay. My tail lights work, parking lights work. Headlights work. Kind of getting nervous that neither fog light works. Truck is a 2013, and it has the purple/grey wire anytime fog light mod.

    Any ideas?

How do you do this? I don't have a test light... Never used one.

Any idea what fuses would affect them?

Got a circuit tester and tested all fuses, all appear to be working as needed. Fog lights still are not.

Did you reverse the wires when you plugged them into the connector plug?

I'm sure I reversed the polarity when I plugged the one led in. I tried it both ways and neither way worked. So I yanked it and went back to stock.

I did the same thing when I converted too, but figured it out and had to rig my harness clips and they work great now. Maybe try again and start over.......or get some a pillar mounts from @sdhq_offroad and have you some additional lighting

Yeah retraced them multiple times. I literally unplugged the stock bulb, plugged in a dually, reversed polarity, plugged it in again, said fuck it, and plugged stock back in. Now nothing works.

Fuse, plug or bulb. About all that would be affected when changing it out and back to stock.

If ECM was fried you would have more issues than just the fog lights.

Makes sense. But I've replaced everything that could have blown. The bulb didn't blow if it wasn't plugged in. I replaced the relay, checked all fuses. Kind of lost and frustrated now.

check the voltage in different areas using a multimeter. See if you have power or where the power stops.

I have two from Harbor freight. Work fine for the task. They were both a free item that they give away all the time. [IMG]

Don't have one but I do have a circuit tester now, that will at least tell me I have power in the plug right?

Is there a way to make the lights come on without the switch? Like is it possible the switch is broken?

Did you try reverting the anytime fog mod back to stock? Some people have issues.

Checked plug, doesn't appear to be power going to it. There is power at the relay socket in the fuse box. What now?

Not be be insulting, but have you tried them without your headlights being on HI-beam/bright lights?

I would try reverting the wires back. FWIW, I can’t think of a time I’ve driven with my fogs on. Granted, they’re stock and my headlights are HID.
